Sleek blow dry
Gives a sleek salon-like blow dry, does everything that’s promised.I have frizzy fluffy hair, very light and wavy. This styler made my hair look glossy with no frizz, the only thing - it’s not advised to use on absolutely wet hair, it’s better to air dry first for like 15 mins, otherwise the rotating bit would struggle and get stuck

Makes my hair feel dry
I’ve been using the babyliss big hair brush for years and I can’t live without it. My one broke so I thought I would try this with the ionic extra.Firstly, it’s a lot heavier than the original, so not good when you have tennjs elbow.Secondly, I don’t know what it is about the ionic extra but it makes my hair feel horrible. Like something drying has been put on it.I can write this review now because I found an old babyliss big hair brush in the bottom of my wardrobe, thankfully it worked. Thankfully today my hair feel lovely and less frizzy. So by contrast I can tell this this particular big hair brush model is not as good. Save your pennies and buy the original one workout this ionic setting.Good luck.

If it's not broken, don't fix it
I have had several Babyliss Big Hair stylers, and when my last one broke, I headed off to order another one. Alas, I could not find a dual head styler like I had. Couldn't believe that Babyliss had stopped making them. So in the end I purchased this.Unfortunately, the design of the brush has changed, and the large buttons that once graced the dual head styler, have been replaced with smaller buttons which you press to make the brush rotate. I found that due to the buttons being smaller, I had to be exact where I placed my thumb to make it rotate. If I moved my thumb ever so slightly, the rotating stopped. On the older styler the buttons were so much larger, and I could move my thumb position on the button without it stopping. Also having to press quite precisely on the button ended up making my thumb sore. As I was having to stop and re-position my thumb on the styler, which made drying my hair harder. I decided I had had enough of this badly designed styler, and started to look around for something similar to my previous Babyliss with larger buttons.I am now the proud owner of the Babyliss Pro Titanium Expression. It has virtually all the same features as my old Babyliss Big Hair, but with 3 speeds for rotation. It does not have a cold shot button, but I never used that anyway. It does, however, just come with one head, but it has large buttons for the rotating speeds and I can now dry my hair in record breaking speed, with no sore thumbs. I just hope that Babyliss don't stop making this one.

Good value for money for your blow dried hair
I've used this type of brush for the last 10 yrs. I couldnt live without one. Blow dried hair at your fingertips. Whoever says ahhh..i cant get used to this, it doesnt work for me etc..that's rubbish. It's a matter of mastering the techinique and using the correct brush size for your hair. Also not sure what other people do but I use mine on completely dried hair. Not damp. So yes back to the reason why im here. Tried it this morning. Very good ( 50 ml barrel for my shoulder lenght hair). Cant fault it. Slightly different model from my previous one and I noticed it has a sensor so that when you roll your hair up to the roots then you slightly pull back..it starts to unroll by itsself which is a great feature. Less likely to tangle your hair. This one was a bit pricey. I swear to god that I put in my amazon basket a cheaper one and i left this one in my wish basket...😆😆 but here I am now owning a more expensive one maybe for the next 3 years ??

Brilliant
I have thick wavy/curly hair that’s prone to frizz. I always blow dry my hair. This is one of the best tools I have used. It ‘polishes’ the hair and gives a bouncy blow dry as if I’d been to a salon. I bought this after returning a dyson hair wrap which left me thoroughly disappointed. This is SO much better. You do need to use it on damp hair not wet, and it takes a little practice to prevent tangles. but as long as I section my hair and use it methodically… I can’t fault it.
