Urifunnel

I used the bedside commode version for my dad who had Parkinson’s/neurological issues. I would use it on the main toilet, then move it to his bedside toilet that I put next to his bed. The Urifunnel catches urine so when it’s not aimed properly, it doesn’t matter. This was probably one of the most frequently used items I purchased that my dad needed, no regrets at all despite it having a high price. My only issue with it is over time the plastic somehow cracked down by where the plastic screws hold the funnel together. I don’t know how it cracked, I never noticed it until later when I had to clean it, and the crack was at the very end where the lowest screws join the funnel together. I suspect the plastic area where the screws are needs further reinforcement so the thinner area remains strong. Regardless of the Urifunnel cracking, it did not affect the use, it lasted until my dad passed. (16 months). If Urifunnel is reading this, I hope they fix the weakened area of the Urifunnel in the future. I give it 5 stars despite the crack because it didn’t stop its effectiveness and I really found this item more useful than any other item I bought for an adult who wasn’t able to control their urine into the toilet.

Came early, packaged good, easy to put together, and fits the toilet like in the picture. Bought this for my special needs son. Works great! No more messes on the floor and everywhere. I recommend this product!

I really appreciate this saved me from cleaning all day long the walls the floors all over the toilet. This is exactly what my 33 yrs.old special needs son needed. Just one less thing is a tremendous difference thank you.

****Edit; I still love the product. The handel did crack as someone else mentioned it their comment. For the cost, I don't think there should be anything that cracks, but it's still functional. They should redesign and attach handels on the outside..........I love this so much. I have special needs children but works for husband too lol. My toilet is next to shower so its easy to wash with shower handle as it is long enough to reach over. It doesn't sit in the water so it doesn't drip when you need to pull it out. I have had for just about a month and my bathroom no longer smells like pee daily. Prior I would want to cry because there was pee on the walls, floors and even the tub. Now it all goes where it needs to. The hadels makes it easy for my kids to remove when they need to sit. It is pricey but after giving in and spending the money, I am kicking myself for not getting sooner. I didn't even realize how much it was affecting me mentally.

Well, this invention does the trick, and it is made out of a very heavy duty plastic. I feel that it could benefit from being made with a lighter and more flexible type of plastic. It definitely keeps from getting all over the place as it should. I just feel a better design Could be more useful. It’s basically just a very heavy piece of plastic with holes drilled in it to hold its shape with automotive pop rivets. I certainly don’t want to sound like I’m knocking the company or the product. The packaging with literature and customer service seemingly on your side to help with this goes a very long way. But I am very mechanically inclined, and probably could’ve built this myself for under $10, so, while that’s the mechanical person in me. This is a godsend for people who don’t have the time, tools, or ability to make something like this. I found that the urine funnel is a lot more easier and less cumbersome to use and definitely takes up a lot less space .

This is the forth time we have purchased. Although the Urifunnels are rather expensive, they really work well for us. The only complaint I have is that the handholds that are used to move it are weak and tend to break (hence the forth purchase in five years). They really need to be reinforced. The last two I have done this myself by winding duct tape around them for extra support. It would be great if the manufacturer would reinforce these openings!

There are no directions about attaching this to a commode.

Amazing product for my special needs son. Easy to use for my 11 year old. Easy to clean. This has saved me from cleaning the floors the walls and anything around the toilet after every uses. Also the customer service is great. My first one came broken because of delivery. Customer service reached and sent a new one right away. Worth every penny! Highly recommend it.

Product works good, needs to be taller and needs a trap at the top so per doesn’t spray. Price is ridiculous
