as far as a good "pistol belt" to connect to, yes it would the belt is quite strong

It is genuine ??? Or fake ???

Its is a genuine CQB/Riggers belt. I have worn it everyday as a duty belt & also on off days with basic jeans (Levis/wrangler) & stiffness and durability are still like its day one. In my opinion it is a great duty belt & will last quite sometime & i highly recommend it.

I ordered direct from amazon. it didn't come in any sort of real packaging - just folded with a black plastic tag. is that how they come? genuine?

Mine was packaged the same way, with tag and appears to be genuine. I was happy with purchase.
