Excellent device, works as promised!
When my mom was alive she was in bad shape and at one point suffered nose bleeds due to blood thinning medication. This device helped immensely to get it to stop and she was comfortable with it, more comfortable than holding her nose with her fingers. I used it once and found it very comfortable and effective. Great to keep handy for nosebleeds!

Stop bleeding nose
We would recommend this product to anyone who has frequent or major nosebleeds. We just pinch this on our nose and keep it there for several minutes and gently remove it and check to see if the nosebleed has stopped. Using this tool allows us to clean up our faces and sit down (not stand up by the sink, especially if we are a little wobbly). For children it allows you to deal with the nosebleed but also deal with, perhaps, an upset child. It works beautifully for us. We have one in our bathroom and one in our cosmetic case for traveling.

Slips right off...
...unless you have two deep, penny-sized circular indentations on each side of your nose. Fails to stay in place for even a short period of time.

These are pretty good. My four year old gets somewhat frequent nose bleeds and I needed something that would help us solve the problem quickly. She will wear this but only for a few minutes which usually does the trick for her. I have however found something better called nasal cease. It's kind of a gauze treated with a clotting agent that you roll and place in the nose. Stops bleeding for her within a minute and she can go about her life! I much prefer the nasal cease to the "nose pinchers."

Nose Aid Emergency Nose Bleed Treatment
I had purchased this Nose Aid because I kept having nose bleeds.I had found out about these before when I had went to the Emergency Room for ongoing nosebleeds. The nurse had put something like this on my nose and within minutes it stopped bleeding. So I had went on Amazon.com and started looking for some of the same thing and I had found it.The Nose Aid works very well and I rather use this, instead of going to the Emergency Room.I would recommend this Nose Aid to anyone having ongoing nose bleeds because it works.

Might be useful in some cases.
Too expensive for a fancy clothes-pin

This is a great little tool to carry for emergencies
This is a great little tool to carry for emergencies. We keep it in my son's soccer bag (just in case). This is a standard item that is carried in ambulances. We've recommended this product to others who have children prone to nosebleeds and have gotten positive feedback on our recommendation.

Blood thinners made this a necessity
Works great the first time. Soft pads can still leave some bruising on nostrils if you are on blood thinners. Over time the clamp strength lessens so I wish they had an adjustable clamp, but I usually find something to wedge in the V of the clamp to keep it tight for the 20 minutes or so it takes to stop blood thinner induced nose bleeds. If you have constant nose bleeds see a doctor to have them fuse the vein inside your nostril cavity to build up a thicker scar tissue to prevent frequent reoccurrences.
