I’ve had my Dyson v7 for about five years now. The MAX mode on it stopped working a year or two ago. The battery has slowly been deteriorating - for the last few months it would only last a couple minutes at full charge, I was having to plan my vacuuming ahead of time this get the worst of it done. I took it apart and tried cleaning it, washed the filter - didn’t fix it and the filter smelled atrocious after washing and drying. I thought I was doomed to have to buy a new vacuum but checked out battery replacements as a last ditch effort. Was pleasantly surprised at the price of this and thought it was worth a shot. Was very easy to replace the battery and as a bonus was able to replace my smelly filter. I just spent a half hour vacuuming my whole house and it still has charge. I can use the MAX mode again. The smell is gone. It’s like a brand new vacuum!! Thank you thank you. Even if I have to buy a new battery every couple years what a value! I’m going to go vacuum some more.

The original Dyson V7 battery had finally dies after almost 10 years. The battery I ordered from PowTree fit properly and installed easily, Prior to using it I charged it; the battery active light came on supposedly indicating it was charging. Later I checked and the light was off so I assumed I now had a fully charged battery. When I used it though it did not seem to have the power that the original battery had. After a few uses over several days it died. I put it in the charger and the battery light lit but then immediately went out. The battery would not charge. Fortunately it was within the 30 day return window. I asked for a replacement from PowTree assuming it was just a one-time thing. I soon received the replacement battery. It took a little longer but the same scene of the 1st battery happened again but 3 days after the 30 day return window passed. I cannot recommend PowTree.

Our Dyson's old battery was towards the end of its life already. It was very limiting to try to vacuum the house properly as it did not hold a charge very well anymore. We decided to go for the upgraded replacement battery and it is a joy to be able to vacuum for a longer time than what the original battery was able to do. The installment is also super simple.

Like you, I was hesitant to purchase a cheap, no-brand knock-off of a Dyson battery. But I did and it works. Two months in and this battery installed perfectly, charged perfectly, and works perfectly. I can't tell a practical difference between this one and the name-brand Dyson battery other than the cost. Will I still be happy with it after a year of regular use? Who knows, but for the cost I'm willing to find out.

My Dyson vacuum kept dying on me and my brother suggested that I'd get an off brand battery with more power and this is great! The install was SUPER easy and so far it has worked out great without issues. I've had this battery for 4 months now.

This battery is worthless!!It lasted only 62 days and was not even used 14 of those 62 days because we were in Hawaii. Got home and went to use the vacuum it powers and the battery was totally dead even after being on the charger the whole 14 days we were gone. We tried to charge it, but it would not accept a charge. Seems like this battery was made just to get you past the returnable date.Very, very unhappy!This is the second off-brand battery that I’ve bought through Amazon and they look real pretty on the outside but they are pure junk on the inside. The other one lasted a couple months longer but it would need to be completely drained after just one or two minutes of use.Don’t waste your money!
