Pela PL-6000 6 Liters Oil Extractor

Works for my CX-5 Turbo.

The first Pella 6000 I purchased was in 2003. It has been used to change oil in six cars, 2 tractors, and many small engines for over 20 years. I purchased this new one because the old one is getting a little worn out. This is a quality product that is designed well. I highly recommend it.

Purchased a 2010 Mariner for my daughter's first car. Two days later, went to change the oil only to find that the drain plug was epoxied in place (the PO must've stripped the plug). This oil vacuum had rave reviews on different forums, so I grabbed it. Ran the car for a few minutes to heat up the oil, but NOT long enough to bring the car up to full temp (I had seen other reviews where guys had melted the suction tube). It took about 15 minutes to suck out 5 quarts, but that's a small price to pay for not having to crawl around on my back. Would definitely recommend.

The Pela PL-6000 worked great for me. I had not heard of this type of device before. But after trying it on my small engines - it works great. Saves time and a lot of mess of trying to lift snow blower and lawn mower up and extract waste oil into container without spilling all over the ground- which was my previous experience. The Pela pL-6000 extracted the oil quickly and cleanly without the previous mess and lifting/balancing engines over a drain container. I recommend the Pela Oil extractor.

I was able to easily remove most of the oil from my crankcase with this pump. My Subaru oil filter is on the top of the engine compartment so I made an oil and filter change without crawling under the vehicle. I got no oil on my hands except when I touched the dipstick.

I purchased this to do my own oil changes in between the recommended 10 mile oil changes the dealer does. I got all the oil out just took a lot longer than I expected. About 4 hours to get all the oil out. I really didn't think it would take that long.It was easy to pour the oil back out into the containers the new oil was in.

Produit livré dans un carton plutôt compact, j'ai aimé la sonde très pratique d'un diamètre de 5mm (compatible pour l'Audi A3) et le récipient est assez rigide.Ma vidange :Pour moi, moteur à 90 degrés (c'est plus fluide).On emboîte les éléments, et idéalement, on posera le récipient au sol plutôt que sur la voiture, la sonde au fond du carter et ensuite on pompe de temps en temps pour avoir une aspiration régulière.J'en ai profité pour changer le filtre à huile et même aspirer les cavités remplies d'huile qui se trouve dans son emplacement.

Das war der angenehmste Ölwechsel meines Lebens: Kein Aufbocken, um an die Unterseite zu kommen, kein Abbau von Bodenverkleidung(en), keine Verrenkungen, um an die Ölablaßschraube zu kommen, keine Matscherei beim Ablassen des Öls, kein Verschütten beim Einfüllen in einen Trichter bzw. Kanister.Statt dessen sauberes Absaugen durch die Ölstaböffnung (die ja bei einigen Automodellen schon gar nicht mehr vorhanden ist!) in die Sammelkugel. Durch eine Pumpe wird in der Sammelkugel ein Unterdruck erzeugt, der das Öl absaugt. Der Vorgang ist naturgemäß langsam, da das Öl ja durch den relativ engen Absaugschlauch muß. Ich habe nicht auf die Uhr gesehen, aber „gefühlt“ dauert es zwischen fünfzehn und zwanzig Minuten für 5 ½ Liter. Es wird auch von der Öltemperatur abhängen. In meinem Fall (Mercedes W 245) wurde restlos alles Altöl abgesaugt.Ich kann eine klare Kaufempfehlung geben. Die 45 bzw.mit Porto 50 Euro sind gut angelegt. Mit einem einzigen Ölwechsel hat man den Kaufpreis (gemessen am Preis für einen Ölwechsel in der Werkstatt) schon wieder reingeholt.

Mi coche es un audi a3 antiguo y como me dijeron, está preparado para aspirarle el aceite como otros 1.9 tdi. También cuando acabes podrás sacarle aceite del cazo donde se aloja el filtro de aceite. Termina cuando oyes el sonido de una leche merengada que se acaba. Cada línea del recipiente es 1l.

This Pela 6000 oill extraction pump is excellent.I have serviced both my cars and my van using this device to extract the oil out of my car when doing an oil change.However there are a few points to note that are beneficial when doing an oil change with this.1. It extracts exceptionally well but you may still be left with a small amount of oil in the sump that it cannot quite reach or your sump may have baffles.2. I still recommend taking the sump plug out and draining the small amount of old oil. On my car I removed the sump plug and around 400mls of old oil drained out.3. You must still replace and renew your oil filter.The benefits of using this device is that when you have extracted as much oil as possible the last little bit only drips out from the sump plug rather than gushing out and getting everywhere. Don't forget to warm the engine before you use the Pela. You can also measure what you have extracted and you know how much needs replacing.You may have read up on how the Pela will not remove sludge and gungy oil in the sump. I change my oil yearly on my car in which I cover around 5000 miles a year. I change my oil every 10,000 miles on my van, which works out at around twice a year. Both manufacturers claim I could either change the oil every 18,000 miles or two years but with the driving I do I make sure I have more regular changes. My van is 150,000 and still in first class condition.At no time have I ever found sludge in the engines, especially since I have to use fully synthetic oil. If you find sludge you have either not changed the oil for 5-10 years or you have a problem with the engine that needs addressing.This is a must buy if you change the oil on your car but don't have a garage ramp.

Da wird der Ölwechsel zum Kinderspiel. Perfekt wenn man Mercedes mit oben liegendem Ölfilter fährt. Da mußt Du gar nicht mehr unter das Fahrzeug ! Die Pumpe macht zwar einen etwas wackeligen Eindruck, funktioniert aber gut. Die Hände bleiben sauber und über die Sonde bekommt man das Altöl kpl. aus der Karre. Vorher einmal kurz um den Block damit das Öl Handwarm wird, dann flutscht es nur so. Der Ölwechsel wird damit regelrecht zum Kinderspiel. Ist für den/die DIY-Schrauber/in m. E. ein klarer Kauf !
