Review: Cute story, might be my daughters biography. - This book is super cute and my daughter (named Lydia) loves it. The story is cute and she relates since she is also has red hair and is terrible at waking up. Review: Odd storyline - Bought this book because we call my daughter Lydia Lou. I didn't realize the entire book is about a ghost trying to wake a sleeping child from her bed. Kinda weird, but we keep it around because of the title.

Used meant very used
I knew this was supposed to be used but it came VERY used and scribbled on. Will rebuy a new copy as I can't give this as a gift

Daughter borrowed a copy from the school library and we loved reading it over and over so I bought a copy so now we can read it whenever we like. Its a brilliant story and also very good for children who are learning to read.

Have bought and read many of Julia Donaldsons books for my child, and this is the most disappointing. It is charming and beautifully illustrated, but just very short - and more suitable for younger children 3-4 years old perhaps, but not much older. Buy her other more famous books first, buy this to complete a collection if you feel the need.

My 4 year old loves the story! She also spends a lot of time looking at the colourful pages.

Not a fan :( Love Julia Donaldson but don’t like this one. The words in the book basically tells your child they should be scared! So not very enthusiastic about reading this for a bedtime story :(

Great book that kids can join in with all the sounds!
