Fantastic for sleep - best for balancing comfort and sound blocking
I am a extremely light sleeper and suffer from hyperacusis (sound sensitivity) and 'early waking' insomnia, especially when stressed. I wake at the slightest sound which is a problem as I live in a city on a street with about five hundred barking terriers. I have tried every ear plug on the market but I hate wearing them to sleep as they usually end up hurting my ears or falling out. Recently though I was getting really sleep deprived: even when I did sleep, it wasn't deep and restful and I was waking at anything and getting more and more exhausted. So I decided to try these. I have quite small ear canals and the only foam ear plugs that worked for me were the Macks Slim Fit but I was aware of them and I hated the fact that they were really hard to remove quickly once in place and were also destined for landfill after just a week's use. Other silicone earplugs with the "Christmas tree" layers and the hard core filter are impossible - they block sound very well but hurt to sleep on your side as they stick out too much. I've been trying Loop Quiet for about a month and have just ordered my second pair. They are definitely, in my opinion, the best out there for a balance of sound blocking effectiveness and comfort. I particularly love the fact they can be removed instantly. It means that I'm not deafly digging my nails in my ears to claw out foam plugs if there is an emergency. The other thing I liked is that all the packaging was recyclable. It was let down however by the carry case which is black (and therefore unrecyclable) plastic. Loop people, sort this out! Here's some advice on use: 1) They should block sound considerably and obviously. If they don't then a) you have the wrong size ear tips - either too big or too small will prevent a good seal in the ear canal so experiment with the different sizes or b) you haven't inserted them far enough. They whole ear tip should be right inside your ear. 2) you need to practice until you work out which direction your ear canal goes and can get the loop part flat inside your ear like the pictures. The instructions aren't great on this but if the loop is sticking out when you go to sleep it increases the chance they'll be pulled out by friction with your pillow. I squeeze them to compress the right angle and, keeping the loop vertical, put them in my ears that way. 3) Don't buy the same colour as your bed sheets! I've just lost one...it'll turn up, I hope. 4) If you get a good sound reduction but can hear your own heart beat then you have ear wax build up and need either ear drops or micro-suction to sort it out. I hope this helps

Comfy and soft
They don’t cut the noise completely but the the description of the product doesn’t suggest that they do so if you have the expectation that you’ll hear nothing once they are in then you’ll be disappointed. They dull the noise that’s all. They are comfy and soft so don’t hurt your ears and so far haven’t fallen out. To change the bud sizes they are slightly fiddly but nothing major like some reviews suggest.

Great product, very portable
Fit is nice, ear tips are fragile, case can easily put on key chain and carry anywhere, and excellent at keeping noise out. Very effective, though be aware even a perfect fit will not block all the noise. Sleeping is more comfortable that I expected, but as a side sleeper, not comfortable enough on the side of my head that touches the pillow; I mostly use these when going outside so I don't have to listen to the cars. Due to weathering, the case can get discoloured, but it does not effect the usability of the product.

It’s oh so…. Quiet
Ordered these after trying a similar cheaper style of earbud. They came well packaged and in a handy little carry case so that you don’t misplace them. Insertion of the loop earbuds is easy and comfortable and they come with numerous different sized buds to fit your ear comfortably without pain or discomfort. I initially purchased to use on a flight and they successfully dimmed down the back how noise but still meant I could hear important information. I’ve since used them in a number of settings and each time enjoyed the experience with much less noise. Overall great earbuds, do as they say and are reasonably priced. I’ve since purchased more for members of the family.

All hype
I really wanted these to be good after hearing (sorry!) all the hype and the online ads, but they simply don't work (as in, in the most basic way) as they are: 1. Impossible to put together 2. Do not actually fit or stay in a human's ear 3. Impossible to try out due to the fact that they don't fit in an ear (they just fall out without any attempt at fitting) I don't know how these passed any testing. They're basically non-fitting earphone parts with a non-fitting loop attached. What are the alternatives? A. Buy a snug pair of cheap earphones and cut off the cable (cheaper and would fit, but you can't lie on your side without pain) B. Buy classic wax earplugs from the pharmacy (they actually stay in ears but don't stand up to many uses - still cheaper) C. Buy Quies wax earplugs (slightly better noise cancellation than pure wax ones - still cheaper - not very reusable at all) D. Move to a tiny cottage in the middle of nowhere (more expensive but solves everything - maybe enter the lottery for the cost of these and see if you're lucky?)

Not the best for the money.
I struggled to get these to fit my ears properly. I tried all the different tips and none fit comfortably which made using them for sleep not ideal. I found after a while they hurt my ears and I couldn’t sleep on them at all so could only wear one at a time. Can still hear my partner snoring through them whilst not as loud it did still disturb me. Great to use when out and about to block out additional noises that caused me to get overwhelmed. They are okay but I wouldn’t buy again I would probably stick to the foam ones.

Worth Every Penny!
I bought these to help me concentrate when reading my Kindle on holiday. I always end up getting distracted with background noise so thought I’d give these a go. They are absolutely fantastic! I took them on holiday with me and they enabled me to concentrate so much better! Since then I have also used them at night when I’m restless and everyday noises start to irritate me such as the sound of the clock ticking and they make such a difference. I have such a great sleep in them whilst also still be able to hear my alarm in the morning. They’re so comfortable to wear and so easy to clean. Their flat loop means you can sleep on them and barely notice them. The carry case they come in is so handy too especially to keep them clean and not lose them!

Really good ear plugs
I was on holiday and there was loud partying going on in a courtyard right outside my room. These ear plugs blocked out that noise, I was surprised! Also used on an overnight flight, they're now my travel essentials. Having the 3 sizes helps too. As well as the handy little case. Note that they don't block everything out. For example, while noise from outside was blocked, I would still hear my phone alarm and noises, although muffled, from the room I was in.
