Marianna Manicure Bowl

Purchased this manicure bowl to soak my nails before applying nail polish, works great! As a stay at home mom, I try to do a lot of DIY beauty treatments at home and doing my own manicure is one that I enjoy doing myself. There is no need to worry about appointments, being at the salon for a long time, not to mention the cost. When I have a day to myself, I like to take a few hours and enjoy some pampering. I enjoy doing my nails and now it is even better with this manicure bowl.It is very easy to use this bowl and it works very well. I place a few drops of my lavender foot gel soaking solution which works just fine on my hands, and some Epson salt. I also add a cuticle softener directly on my cuticles. Add some hot water and then just place my hand in the bowl. I soak my hand for about 5 minutes and I am ready to trim my cuticles and remove any dead skin. Then I start over when I am ready to do my next hand. Then I moisturize my hands and finish off with finger nail polish.This is a great bowl to have if you enjoy doing your own manicure. The price is very affordable as well. I have had mine for about a year and it is still in great condition.

Be just like the professional manicurists and use this little bowl thingie to soak your fingernails in warm soapy water before pushing back your cuticles! The bowl, which looks like a hand citrus juicer, lets you soak your nails while keeping the rest of your hand dry. It also feels cool and super girly, like being at a salon. Unlike the lady in the commercials, I didn't use dish detergent on my nails, but a teeny drop of moisturizing hand soap in warm water. It did a great job on my nails, without drying out my skin like dishwash or smelling like dish soap.Amazon had its usual great price and super quick service, so I have the cool little bowl before I have the rest of the manicure items I ordered at the same time. So until everything arrives, I'm going to play "Madge the Manicurist" and sneak my friends' hands into dish soap. I wonder if any of them will suspect when they get gooey green stuff instead of scented water?Addendum: this little bowl hurts when ex-friends throw it at your head, and the dish soap gets all over my clothes. I think I might cut this experiment short, or just try it on people who have bad aim. Or I could discover if dipping just the fingertips of a sleeping friend into warm water has the same effect of soakingthe whole hand. (I'll probably get a "lab assistant" to do that one - I don't want to get a punch.)

I think the description says to not use acetone. I use the 15 minute gel/dip soak off and it works perfectly. My hand sits comfortably on the top. Should have bought two at the same time. Will buy again.

A well priced and well made product with a classic design. I may have liked it better without the little protruding hanging hook, but am finding that to be convenient to grip and lift the bowl when soap and water is in it.

This is great for an in home cuticle soak, I wish I had bought 2 so I could soak both hands while binge watching my favorite shows

Not much to say about this product but it was cheap and useful. I was using a bowl and this is easier for me to store with all my nail products and its more comfortable to soak in than a bowl.

So I saw some other comments saying how this melts when trying to remove nail polish with nail polish remover, however this is for soaking our nails before a manicure NOT to remove polish! Of course, it will melt if you put nail polish remover in it! I use warm water and a soaking soap and soak my hands in here before giving myself a manicure. It helps to soften the cuticles in order for a trim and just feels nice!

Exactly what I ordered. Thank you. It's just for myself, but I had one similar in Beauty College that I used on hundreds of clients, so I'm sure this would be great in that capacity as well.
