UGREEN External Hard Drive Enclosure 3.5 USB 3.0 to SATA Hard Drive Enclosure with Power Adapter Compatible with 3.5 2.5 Inch Hard Drive, WD, Seagate, Toshiba, HDD, SSD 10TB, UASP-UK Plug Tool-Free

Bought this to replace 9 year old enclosure. The product came in a nice quality packing with an usb 3.0 cable and power supply. The product is designed well and simple to install. It holds the HDD in place with rubber foam support, no screws for installation. The finishing is good and feels like an expensive enclosure. Looks nice on my desk. It's made of quality plastic. I am very satisfied with this enclosure.

Good same as described

Looks solid, despite being light weight; simple

First - it is quality product without a doubt. In most cases with functioning hard drive you will have no issues. You can expect full SATA3 speed. It looks good. Included power supply and USB cable are made well. I don't think this product is meant for 24 hours operation so connecting it as NAS drive may not be feasible but your mileage may vary :-) I think is is USB storage interface that is not suitable for that. I recommend this product to others. Only problem I found, and this is quite niche problem, is with disk that has issues (slow read/write or errors due to technical problems) enclosure does not work well. SATA to USB bridge is not handling disk errors well and it often results in hanged I/O. I suspect bridge is not properly passing errors to host. Anyway it is a minor issue that will not affect healthy setups.

I bought it for an SDD that was not working properly.....and it helped me exract the data from it .... and encouraged me to reuse the drive again with this rack

Nice design, well packaged. Little expensive for a very plasticky box with not a lot in it, I would say 30 quid instead of 50. Tool-less, good and bad. Bad is when you hold it, just be careful you are not holding the top only, could potentially slide out and drop the unit. Otherwise it works as intended. Would also be good if it supported thunderbolt, the 10gb speed is slow.

Great product

I used with WD-6TB HDD, and the data transfer was very fast.

Very good

Great for putting old HDDs to use after upgrading to SSD or NVMe drives, this device is super easy to operate—just slide off the top, place your hard drive into the holder, push it in, replace the lid, and you’re set. The power and USB cables are a convenient length, and the clear, easy-to-see on/off button makes it simple to use. It really brings old HDDs back to life. I have noticed it can get quite hot with prolonged use, but removing the top solves the issue. For a low cost, it’s a great way to repurpose your old drives.

Looks okay. Tried them, working well. Thanks for the fast delivery too.

This was a completely painless process - the enclosure is really sturdy and clean looking. I’m using this for a home file server with a 8tb HDD inside and I’ve had absolutely 0 issues with it ! Great price , great product 100% recommend !
