Decent…but overpriced IMO
Worked as described. Recommend. The bolts and nuts are 10mm for the plate that is sold separately. I think it’s a bit overpriced for a roll of plastic…but that’s how “supply & demand” is. Realistically the cost should be 1/4 of what it is…otherwise happy. It will keep the Asian Lemon imprisoned ⛓️😁

Top quality product, great design
The construction and design of this bamboo barrier joint clamp is excellent. It is made out of heavy 1/8" thick x 1-1/2" wide stainless steel flat bar. The holes for the machine screws are slightly oversize and longer than necessary 10 mm hex head flanged stainless steel machine screws and flange nuts are included. The oversize holes and over-length screws make assembly easier and the flanged screws and nuts eliminate the need for handling flat washers. This is a top quality product and is well worth the cost.

Bullet proof
I ordered two for connecting two 50'x 30' root barriers. On time solid stainless steel included were a bag of lock head stainless steel bolts and stainless steel lock nuts. BULLET PROOF!

Poor design and no clamp
There are no clamps that come with this product, making it even more difficult to use. The bamboo shield is suppose to be installed at an angle into the dirt which makes it very difficult to line these up exactly; in addition, drilling holes on both sides leads to more problems since you cannot predict where the drill will go through the second hole (thus, double holes, weakening the strip). Please don't waste your money on this, just cut two strips from the bamboo shield to use instead and get bolts from your home improvement store.

Clamping bracket for bamboo root barrier
Bought this after watching a YouTube video about using bamboo root barrier material. I had already bought the bamboo root barrier but no where did it mention this was needed to clamp the pieces together to prevent bamboo from sneaking out This is a heavy duty clamping bracket and should work good
