Great tool, easy to time outboard engines as it’s battier powered, as you would expect the strobe can’t be seen in bright sunlight but that’s nothing I wouldn’t expect.

I saw some reviews about the light not being bright enough, and I'll admit the flashlight portion that isn't LED is awful, basically useless besides checking if the unit is turned on or not - that being said the TIMING light portion is LED and bright enough unless you're in direct sunlight. This little travel kit works great for me to bring to the race track and since my car has a rear mounted battery it is a pain to find a positive terminal for a normal unit. The top that turns this on and off is a bit finicky but you figure it out pretty quick and get to timing!
