DIGITEN G1-1/2" 1.5" Water Flow Hall Sensor Switch Meter Flowmeter Control 10-150L/min

Good (not great) if you know what your buying
It's a consumer grade flow meter. Not professional or industrial. It rattles a bit with flow. The readings fluctuate even though flow is constant. Accuracy is dependant on flow rate. In other words, if you tune it at 10GPM, it will not be accurate at 5GPM and will be way off at 1GPM. Other reviewers have suggested that there may be issues with longevity. All that said... For the price, it's probably a good product for me.Some tips...Use both Teflon tape and pipe dope. Don't use the white Teflon tape. It must be thicker. I tried first with a ton of white Teflon and it leaked. Only when I changed to a ton of yellow Teflon did I get a seal. And I do mean a ton. Like probably 15 times around and then lots of pipe dope.Flow is restricted on the smaller sizes of this meter. My plumbing is 3/4" but I adapted for this 1.5" flow sensor so as not to restrict flow. This works, but may contribute to the accuracy issues at low flow. Or that may be unrelated? No easy way to measure the K value? And it's not published? I assume that means that different applications will result in different K values?

Works great, Thread is straight rather than tapered so I had to use some sealant when connecting to a PVC threaded connection.

Great flow sensor at unbeatable price!
Bought this to measure the flow rate from my 10GPM submersible pump which lets me calculate how many gallons I have in reserve in my 350' well. I first bought the 1" model, but it is different design and is very constricted. This one has negligible pressure drop even at high flow rates. I'm running it at 5V and making pulse decisions at 1V. The label indicates the pulse train frequency is 0.5 Hz * flow rate in liters/minute which matches what I get measuring the water quantity. The thread isn't an exact NPT, but threads and seals fine using Sch 40 PVC fittings and liquid thread dope with Teflon. I measure the pulse interval to 100uS resolution to get flow rate and count pulses to measure water quantity. The results look perfect using a $10 Cypress PSoC CY8CKIT-059. Try it - its great!

i do not know the exact flow to recommend it or not
It arrived without frequency/flow graph or formula. I am using Arduino to measure the flow! So far, i do not know the exact flow to recommend it or not. I hope i can find such formula while searching the net
