Batman’s greatest foe has returned for one last gag. But this time, not even the Joker is laughing. In their last encounter, the Dark Knight failed to live up to Joker’s grand plans, so now the Joker is deadly serious. The games are over. And everything is on the table. In their most intense, physical showdown ever, nothing is sacred to the Joker—the Dark Knight's family, friends, allies, home base and those he holds most dear... everyone is a target. The Clown Prince of Crime isn't staging a comedy, it's a dark tragedy. The #1 New York Times best-selling team of Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo create the ultimate face-off between the greatest hero and villain in all of comics in Batman Volume 7: Endgame —and it’s no laughing matter. Collects stories from Batman #35-40. Review: Amazing Conclusion to Death of the Family - The Snyder/Capullo run on Batman has been legendary. The writing is outstanding and the art equally so. None of this is any different in Endgame. The Joker is back, but unlike last time (Death of the Family) he ain't happy. He's pretty sore with Batman for ruining his plans and dropping him off a cliff at the end of the Death of the Family storyline. His new game is pretty simple - try and have the JLA kill Batman and poison the entire city. How can Batman possibly defeat the world's most powerful heroes and then find an antidote to cure the city? ***Spoilers Below*** My five-star review of this book is mainly based on the quality of the work and not on the plot. Snyder takes the Joker and makes him some sort of mythical creature that has a cure-all chemical in his spinal fluid. The story is told expertly and without overdoing it, but I just don't much care for the twist. Joker has been alive and causing mayhem for hundreds of years because he can't die? Sorry, but the character has the power and gravitas that he has because he is mortal. The Joker's complete lack of conscience or morals is his biggest weapon (well that and his knowledge of chemistry and weapons). One plot point that I do love here is about half-way through when even the mighty Batman is on the verge of giving up. "There is always a way," he says and fights on. The climactic battle with the Joker is gruesome and violent, and Snyder and Capullo do a terrific job of giving it the weight it deserves, especially as the end is near. Batman always seems to have a way of saying just the right thing to tell the Joker that his plans have failed and good will always triumph over evil. Given the ending, that seems a little too black and white, but the story does continue, just in another book. You must read this book if you want some closure from all the way back at Death of the Family. You won't be disappointed. Review: Great. Fast shipping, Great book - Very fast arrival and a great Product ( Book)😀

Pretty good story
Amazing artwork, great story worth every dollar. I appreciate comics or graphic novels where I can just sit down and read the whole thing and not feel like I'm missing out on any part of the story. The writing and the writing style was great. Was a great story. Makes me really appreciate comics. Will continue to be on the lookout. I just hope they keep comics and reading comic issues as simple and as affordable as possible. When I spend money on a comic, I want to read a comic and feel like I spent my money's worth. This book was worth what I spent. I little more plot details could have been added . I wish I knew how batman got to one place to another and just more details in general throughout the story would make me feel more enriched to the story but the comic was a great read. Had a lot of fun. My only gripes are with the kindle app with comics. Although I enjoy how the panels pop up when clicked, I get frustrated when I can't zoom in and I am not able to read everything as clearly or appreciate the artwork in detail as much as I want to.

A risky, yet masterful Batman/Joker story and highlight of the New 52
The Batman and the Joker: perhaps the most famous super-hero rival of all time, rivaled only by Superman and Lex Luthor. This is their zenith, their endgame, an event Snyder built towards since Death of the Family. There is so much history between these two that an arc called 'Endgame' has a lot to live up to if it is to be the final battle for Batman and Joker. Death of the Family was not as highly regarded by yours truly as the masterpiece many call it. I felt Snyder took it a little too far, but I still enjoyed his adaptation and eagerly anticipated the next time we would see Joker. After a few years of waiting, Capullo and Snyder began this arc and it did not disappoint. Snyder brings in the Justice League, the Bat-family, and a whole host of other characters to deliver this story. Despite the plethora of pieces, this arc never feels over-stuffed and focus remains on Batman. The story itself is complex and layered, but very linear for the most part. The notion of what and who the Joker really is played with by Snyder, a risky move that is sure to ruffle a few feathers. Batman is pushed to his limits, and Snyder is able to capture all the emotions masterfully. Volume six was very disappointing, but I think Snyder redeemed himself here. Even more appreciated is the fact that the entire arc is wrapped up nicely in one volume, a fact that cannot be said about the next two volumes. Capullo's art is fantastic. His style is fairly unique, a paradox of cartoonish-elements and detailed realism. The colors and his pencils produce some of the best Batman artwork put to print in recent memory, and continues to set a precedent for all comic book imagery. The art makes this volume, capturing the madness of the Joker and grim determination of the Dark Knight. There are, however, a couple factors that prevented me from awarding five stars. For a story about what is likely the final Batman/Joker story for some time, there isn't a whole lot of these two face-to-face. Granted, when they do meet, it is immensely powerful, it just felt a bit lacking. This is the Endgame story for these two, but it is worth pointing out that, in terms of the New 52 continuity, Batman and Joker have not had a whole lot of interaction, especially in the Snyder/Capullo title. What I'm trying to say is that Snyder is trying to have it both ways in terms of the Batman/Joker history. He expects the reader, understandably, to have a great appreciation for the significance of this showdown without having detailed a lot of history within the Batman New 52 title. This volume can stand by itself in terms of story, but is not quite as independent as say, Zero Year. Overall, this volume accomplished what it set out to do: deliver a satisfying, epic conclusion to Batman and Joker. I highly recommend this collection, and have no doubt that this story will endure in Batman mythos for quite some time.

Batman v. Joker
I love the New 52 series of Batman, and I have enjoyed all of the volumes released prior to this one. I think Scott Snyder is a wonderful Batman writer, top 5 in my personal opinion. All the stories he has created for Batman as of late from Black Mirror, to The Court of the Owls and especially Death of the Family have some of my favorite Batman moments of all time. I loved with what he did with ENDGAME. He was able to tell a good original story using the Joker, once again, but it in a way that's intriguing from beginning to end. The only complaint that I do have is I wish it was longer. The story was divided into 6 issues but I think could've easily been stretched out to 10 issues. The use of the Justice League was cool, although very brief, the artwork is fantastic and the ending was incredible. Death of the Family is still superior to this, but it's a great read nontheless.

Thrilling; Impossible to put down.
I expected this book to take me multiple sessions to get through, but I literally could not stop reading. It was just so gripping, so well executed, and so interesting. Snyder (yet again) makes the Joker not only more menacing than ever, but also makes you worry about what exactly he might really be. Things that seemed set in stone are cleverly and scarily turned on their heads, and there's a complex mystery to solve for Batman. It was hard to resist the temptation to hurriedly turn pages and see what's next, but Capullo's excellent art is so atmospheric and poetic that it had me smelling the roses just long enough that the book didn't blow by from my eagerness to continue reading. If you like a threatening, dark, intelligent, force of nature kind of Joker, this is your book. If you love the romance of his eternal entanglements with Batman, this book tickles those strings. I would also recommend Snyder and Capullo's previous work, 'Death of the Family', which is not super necessary to appreciate this story, but it is connected and you may want to start there (or with the equally masterful 'Court of Owls/City of Owls' stories). The entire book pairs beautifully with the soundtrack from Batman v Superman; particularly 'Fight Night' and 'Beautiful Lie', swapping back and forth as tonally appropriate. Somewhat appropriately, a couple of other big characters from that film also appear early in this book in a big, awesome way. If you are even a little curious about Endgame, just buy it and enjoy the ride!

These guys know the Joker!
I'm a huge fan of the new 52 batman series and the Death of the family joker run they did was incredible. This is not quite as good but it's still fantastic. Everytime you turn the page you are just hoping the joker will be there because when he is its just great reading. I highly recommend anyone who likes batman to read this, but if you haven't read any of the new 52 batman don't start wiTh this, start at the beginning. It will make this so much better if you do!

Fantástico
A história dispensa apresentações, sou muito fã do Capullo e Snyder juntos, vale dizer também que a entrega veio simplesmente a jato, em menos de 1 semana
