Bought for my Godson and he tells me it's fab. His mum said it's easy to set up and use and provides them all hours of fun.

Colis très abîmé à la livraison, et dommage que les propulseurs ne soit pas compris avec l ensemble, cela devrait être précisé à l achat.

I bought this mostly for the controller and the base, but the included rocket is a nice touch and would make this a good kit for a gift (though rocket engines and wadding are not included). First, the base. This is a simple rocket accessory, but it works great, costs little, and sets up fast. The base is plenty sturdy enough for small and medium sized rocket kits being launched from a fairly level surface, like a park field. The angle is easy to adjust so that the rocket launches straight. The controller is a simple, one button controller with a safety key to prevent accidental launch. The wires are long enough to put enough distance between you and rocket for safety. The rocket itself worked well. Using the largest recommended engines I would estimate that it hit around 1000 ft. We launched it 3 or 4 times, along with other rockets using the same pad and controller, and it launched perfectly every time, flew as straight as the wind would let it, and deployed the parachute each time for a safe, recoverable landing with no damage.

Purchased through the Estes store. The launch pad and igniter work great, the rocket was super easy to put together. This is exactly the starter kit I was looking for. Some things to note: This kit does not come with rocket engines or wadding. The smaller 1/8" launch rod is included with the launch kit. It doesn't come with a storage/transport box like back in the day.

Classic Estes model rocket kit, good beginner kit. Went together fairly easily. My glue set almost immediately as I glued the engine housing to the rocket body leaving them ever so slightly out of alignment but that is probably my fault. Kit does not come with engines or recovery wadding, items are not supposed to be included but you should be aware.
