Subwoofer cables really do matter!
Hi all. I've been into home audio and video since childhood and I'm almost 50 as of right now. I've been able to enjoy quite a few different audio setups. It was easier back 20-30 years ago to search and find audio nirvana, because of all the privately owned stereo shops. I didn't have a computer back then, so all the trial and error was hands on. All this to say, that I have a bit of experience as far as audio equipment goes. I had to sell my high end stereo set-up about 2 years ago ,because of some emergency home reno and repairs. I'm disable so I didn't have a choice. In today's economy, money is tighter, so I had to get it from somewhere. About 6 months ago I started building a very humble and basic home theater, compared to systems I've owned. I was fortunate to find really good components for cheap. One of the last things for me to buy and upgrade was a subwoofer cable for my SVS PC- 2000 12'' cylinder sub. I was running a fairly cheap 75 Ohms coax I bought years ago from Parts Express. The cable was 10ft and did the job just fine, or so I thought. I researched this topic quite a bit, and it seems like subwoofer cables are one of the most overlooked and neglected components in the home theater chain. I couldn't tell you how many websites and reviews I read that said that basically as long as the cable is a 75 Ohms coax, there is no difference between expensive and cheap sub cables. I used Blue Jeans 10 Ga speaker cables in the past with much success. So I thought I would take a chance on this LC-1 sub cable. All I have to say is, wow. My sub didn't get any louder, or the cable didn't boost the bass in any way. The big difference is in the pitch and the Definition of the bass. I've been playing very familiar music and movies, so to have a baseline to compare to. The difference is the quality of bass I'm now hearing and feeling. I am a firm believer in the Blue Jeans LC-1 cable now. I admit that on a possibly lesser sub, the differences might be more subtle, but if you already have a good subwoofer that goes low and that starts and stops on a dime, you owe it to yourself to pull the trigger on this LC-1 cable. It is very flexible, noise-free and has excellent RCA plugs. The LC-1 transforms a good sub into greatness, and at this price it's a no-brainer. Thanks for another great cable Blue Jeans. God bless you all.

Impressive Quality and Performance!
Have owned many Interconnects and speaker wires over the years and have to say I am VERY impressed with this Subwoofer connector. Wasn't sure what the performance and quality would be given the price point, but have no doubt this is an awesome product. Previously used connectors from the "scary" big-name company that also has the same name as an energy drink and the BlueJean cables blow them away!Sound of my high-end duel subwoofer combo is punchy and tight with the BlueJeans. The connectors to my AVR and subwoofers fit perfect and really appreciate how they are double shielded to prevent signal loss and interference. These cables are easily built to last 10 years+ and am now considering other BlueJean products. I don't believe speaker wires and various connectors are "snake oil" because hearing is believing and now I know you don't have to break the bank to get quality connectors that perform!

Bluejeans cable FTW
When I built my basement home theater 8 years ago, I had gotten this Bluejeans cable to run from my wall plate, through the studs to the rear of my processor. But for some reason, I used a a Straitwire subwoofer cable to run from my subwoofer to the wall plate. Which is odd because almost every cable I have is from Bluejeans. I must have had it laying around and didn't want to spend more money on cables. It was an expensive cable to boot. I probably paid $50 for it 8-10 years ago. I realized all of this after I bought a Denon AVR-X3100W (which is fantastic btw) and cleaned up the rat's nest of wires behind my old processor by switching from audio and video interconnects to all HDMI. I initially ran the Audyssey setup on the Denon to correct for room acoustics using the straightwire cable. I always use the beginning song from the movie "Inside Man" as my reference because of its impressively deep bass. It sounded great. So, everything was calibrated. About a week later, I order this Bluejeans cable and I use it to connect my subwoofer to the wall plate. Now I have this as the sole cable from subwoofer to Denon. I put in the Inside Man Blu-ray in and .........WOW. What a difference. The bass is so low and pronounced, that the grid work for my dropped ceiling is vibrating and rattling from the deep bass. So much so, that I have to re-run the Audyssey calibration. The bass is now toned down to the point of not rattling the grid work. I just have tight, gut-wrenching bass hitting me. Bass like I've never had before. You can feel it in your chest, just like at a rock concert. If this isn't proof that a single cable can make a world of difference, I don't know what is. I just wish I would have realized this situation sooner.
