Aloha, what is the difference between Lugols and nascent iodine?

Nascent is useless to the body. Don't use it. Our bodies use elemental iodine and iodide.

Selenium to go with iodine?

Really, really need more information, but I take selenium with 2 drops of Lugols iodine in water.. I am only speaking for what I do. the person asking the question should consult a knowledgable professional.

Why is this Iodine only for external use? I see other brands that do not say that.

Lugols can be taken internal small dose for water purification. This is not the brand I purchased the description of this does say both put in water and then do not take external I would contact the manufacturer email is on bottom of bottle.
