Make no mistake about it, this product will work with your older and newer Keurig machines!
This K-Cup is a great K-Cup for all you people who own a Keurig. K40 machine. My new keurig 2.0. Malfunctioned, so I went to Goodwill and I saw an older model keurig(k40) so I purchased it hoping I could use my K-Cup with this older model I purchased at Goodwill because I don't like the way my coffee comes out with the pods that you purchase in the store filled with coffee because it's too weak. So I was looking in Amazon for a compatible K-Cup that fit the K40 and they showed the Keurig K-Cup that looked like the ones I use that fits my malfunctioned Keurig 2.0 so it must be one designed to fit the K40 specifically I thought So I ordered it! It wasn't until today when I went to check my mail for my kcup and it hadn't arrived yet so out of frustration and being mad wishing it would hurry and get here so I could enjoy my coffee again is when I noticed a video in the product description that I hadn't seen before so I descided to watch it and I so glad I did! So the video shows a lady demonstrating this K-Cup used with my newly purchased but much older model keurig K-40 I found at Goodwill to take the place of my newer Keurig 2.0 (very clean in pristine condition) as I watched the video it shows her pulling out the K-40 models built in holder that holds the coffee pods then this is where the video became very clear to me.... it showed her taking the Grey tab off the K-kup then sitting in the place where she took the built in pod holder out and placed the kcup into the machine! So after that I got to the part of the video where she stated "Attention Keurig 2.0 owners DO NOT remove the Grey tab"! That's when I had my wake up moment, my uh-huh moment, that's where I went wrong and unnecessary went without my coffee for a solid week I wasn't assembling things right. When they say advertise these K- cups as universal, they weren't kidding! it. I was not paying attention I guess or doing enough research. Anyways, I immediately went to work and I brewed my first cup of coffee with my new yet much older machine and let me tell you, the Keurig K40 brews a much better cup of coffee using these K cups than my newer model did. Not a joke. I give this product a five star review. Unfortunately, I have several of them kicking around so I don't need anymore do I'll return this one and receive a credit for something else but I just wanted to share this review with anyone who might be in my situation or similar to mine! Had this jcup came in the mail on time I might have not found this video out of frustration so I guess like the saying goes everything happens for a reason! FYI. for all of you who might like your 12-16ounce cup of coffee strong like I do then start brewing your coffee in 4ounce incrimints and pull your coffee cup out and put something in it's place to catch the remaining hot watered down coffee!! Continue doing it this way and with every 4ounce brew cycle to get you to the 12 or 16 ounce cup of coffee! Remember you also need to fill the K-cup with coffee everytime you select the 4ounce brew as well! This is how you can get to your personal desired strength. It works great this way! Works well: This product very much is a universal product and it does work with all Keurig models I might add.

Save money. Better coffee
For a long time I was buying a particular brand of coffee directly from Keurig for around 50 cents per cup. Keurig stopped making that brand of coffee so I tried over half a dozen different coffee suppliers. The coffee was not good, was not fresh, and was expensive. In some cases it was costing me over a dollar per cup. This might not sound like a lot, but when you have (in the family) 5 or 6 cups of coffee per day, that adds up to a lot of money over the course of a year. I am now buying whole bean coffee for about $17 for two pounds. This translates to less than 25 cents per cup. The coffee I buy is freshly roasted with the roast date right on the package. I grind enough for about a week's worth of coffee so it is always fresh. Each cup is WAY better than anything I ever brewed in a K-Cup. For flavored coffee I just put back in the piece that you have to remove to accommodate the K-Cups. It takes like a second. Even my wife can do it. It is easy. The reusable cups can be put in the dishwasher so you can get all the oil off so there is no buildup of residual bitterness. I bought a cage that goes in the dishwasher and put the parts of the reusable cups in the cage so they don't go flying all over the dishwasher. Sometimes the red rubber gasket (I guess that it what it is) comes off during the washing cycle. It is easy to put back on. Just have to make sure to line up with the holes in the lid and snap it back in. The reusable cups work without the red gasket, it just makes a tiny bit of a splash. I first bought one to try it to make sure it worked and that I was going to like it. Now I have 7. One lid accidentally got put in the garbage disposal so I need to replace it. But by having 7 I always have one ready to use all throughout the day, and then when it comes time to clean them, I can put all 7 at the same time in the dishwasher and I have 7 ready to go for the next day. If you want to save $$, save the environment, and have better tasting coffee, I recommend this product. One last thing, Keurig makes a scoop that works perfectly for filling up the basket. It is called Perfect Pod EZ Scoop.

Fantastic!
This Reusable Keurig Coffee Pod Filter cup for my "Mini Plus Series" is the answer to all things perfect and pure tasting coffee❗I had no problems whatsoever, it's an easy process to insert in unit. Please follow instructions or i'll just advise here and now: First remove the original black cup inside Mini Plus (push up from under top base where coffee flows & lightly turn top of cup from inside with your other hand - no pressure) after (remove or cut tape seal holding the grey adapter to the new plastic black base cup, push down to remove-no force needed). 2nd: Remove grey lid/top with red four prong seal still attached. 3rd: Put your favorite coffee in grey plastic/mesh filter basket after 1st lightly washing/rinsing it (do not fill over line under the word MAX inside cup!) 4th: Place inside hole in unit, Lining up that small white arrow on the top grey lid to the backside of up your machine, the Keurig name & 2 lock symbols in white lettering are facing you and the front of your Keurig. The larger white circle on the filters' top (with red adaptor still attached, sealing 4 holes not needed on the Mini Plus) grey lid is facing the left side. There's no need to force the filter's entire basket in the hole. You will simply feel it a little snug as you lightly twist in place. The main thing is to be able to push close the Mini Plus's machine's top silver base over your filter cup & lights are then activated just like any other Kcup. If you desire stronger coffee, just push the "Strong" black button on top of the Mini Plus before pushing large circular silver K tab on top of Mini Plus machine when making your coffee. The coffee should pour out slowly, and cleanly (No leaks/drips/mess) from the small hole in the filter cup after water is warmed up. There is no reason to keep pressing silver tab over & over. The machine performs like a human; it knows when to start and when to stop depending on how much water you pour in container (6, 8, 10, or 12 oz<don't go over 12oz's to avoid leaks!) I'm not kidding, my coffee taste fantastic, better than my glass French press, Pour Over and is equal to the amazing taste of my Coletti Coffee Percolator that is heated by camp fire or on the stove range. This filter is even better because it's so easy to clean (I suggest cleaning after each cup of coffee is made after enjoying your delicious coffee of course) I only use water from my Brita Pitcher. I have to add, one of the best tasting coffees IMO is "Jacob's Kronung" also purchased from Amazon. And, no I didn't get any offers for this review. I am a honest, very happy buyer of great products that truly deserve their👍🏼😍

The Keurig My K-Cup works but has some issues with the K-Duo Gen-2 coffee maker
This My K-Cup filter does work with my Keurig K-Duo Gen-2 coffee maker, but to use it in my K-Duo, you have to first remove the original K-cup pod holder. This replaces that. But if you switch back and forth a lot between regular K-cup pods and the reusable filter, like I do, it gets to be a pain. And so the 4 stars and not 5. I see on Keurig's website they now have a brand new My K-cup filter that fits in the original pod holder, so if you can get one of those it would be better. I don't see them on Amazon now though. I like the plastic filters like these because they don't get so hot to touch, like the stainless steel models do. They are fairly easy to clean and since they are reusable, they are eco friendly. And right now these are a good price, probably since they are getting ready to replace them with a new model. In any case, this filter works fine, and it fits many different Keurig coffee makers. Just remember if you have a Keurig with MultiStream technology, remove the red rubber plugs, or you won't get the MultiStream benefits.

Best tasting coffee you will make from a basic keurig.
I was going to only give this 4 stars due to how poorly the design is for the plus models (older keurig pro) needing the extra grey clip, as it is not particularly foolproof and took a few minutes to figure it out and it has to be taken apart every time (as the lid holds it in place and removing the lid makes it fall in) with the clip always falling back in and having to be retrieved from inside the housing of the brewer. Hence my low marks on easy to use. Not impossible nor difficult, but honestly if your making coffee you probably need it and this extra annoyances dont help. However that being said with high quailty grounds, man this thing makes some amazing coffee! So down here in Baton Rouge, Louisiana (better food than New Orleans so we know flavor around here) we use Community Coffee which is packaged right here in the city, it has a strong flavor almost an aquired taste (normal coffee tastes like burnt and flavorless to me since I am conditioned for it now). Most coffee pots as a carafe with paper filters brew it fine (what its designed for), the k cups for this brand is ok definitely not as good as grounds with paper filter as it seems k cups is an afterthought for Community. But using grounds in this adapter from the k cup side it blew everything out of the water in regards to taste and flavor. Worth every penny, and definitely worth the trouble. Im so excited for my coffee in the morning that even if the clip falls in I dont try to throw the adapter out the window any more. Had no idea coffee could taste so good. My technique for this is to use mid grinded coffee like is used in paper filters and keep it refrigerated until I am using it (dont leave it in the pot overnight), course ground is not enough flavor (but still good), yet fine ground lets too much through the mesh so mid ground gives best results. Yes people tell not to put in fridge due to "moisture" but really modern full sized fridges have at minimum a moisture reducer mode or something that can make some foods last longer so should be on anyway, but starting from cold grounds imparts far more flavor. You cant really do this with k cups as they will break at the seal if cold. The other thing is this adapter holds more grounds than needed, as you can brew 2 large or 3 small cups without losing much flavor, but any less than the max fill line some water does not get used in brewing and less flavor is imparted. Its better to fill to max fill line on adapter with grounds and make two cups with it (the second one set strong) than to try and add less grounds. I generally make 18-20oz of coffee in the morning, this is why I got this in the first place since using the same k cup twice really isnt that good tasting nor cheap, or two k cups for more cost than buying a coffee. I make the first 6-8oz on regular and the next 12oz on strong, works perfect on my 5yr old something model kerig pro but results may vary my guess is many may see similar results. I only replace the grounds after that 18-20oz or so, or I take out the whole adapter and pop it back into the fridge immediately after brewing for the next day if doing small cups. The second brew the next day believe it or not is still better than the k cup of this coffee brand specifically, but only if its refrigerated before brewing. My guess is refrigerated grounds really makes the difference here, but this adapter is very well designed specifically to make very good coffee even if it does have some shortcomings in other parts of its design. Its an acceptable tradeoff for those who consider the flavor of the coffee important.

Great product, easy to use. Pay attention to what you are doing, though!
This is a great product, easy to use, makes even mediocre ground coffee made for a dripper taste great in the Keurig. My only problem is that you have to remove the regular K-cup basket (the one with the pokey needle) to use this, so when I leave this one out after washing it, and try to use the Keurig with a regular store-bought K-Cup, I forget to put the other basket back in, and dirty coffee water and wet grounds goes everywhere because the bottom of the cup doesn't get pierced. It is my own fault, and I've done it often enough to learn my lesson, but I have clearly not learned anything. Do it right and you will have great results. Do it like me and you should probably order some dark colored kitchen rags, because the white ones surely will get stained.

You will hate this product. Let me tell you why
I only write reviews when I feel strongly about something and this is one of those situations. You all have to know what you're getting into with this horrible product so here goes. First of all, I'm an avid Keurig fan and drink many cups of coffee a day so ease of use is high on my value list. I have had many Keurig's over the years and many many reusable k-cup holders/pods etc. along with them. I recently bought a new Keurig Supreme Multi Stream machine and thought this time I would go with the more expensive Keurig brand reusable k-cup filters because maybe there's a reason why they're so much more expensive than everything else. I mean, they designed them for their own product, right? They have to be good. So confident was I that I bought two of them. Each cost around $10 a piece. Well, let me tell you what I experienced. First the bad because there's so much bad: - The product has an inner basket and an outer holder. You have to pull the basket out of the holder each time you use it - to clean and fill it. The top also comes off so it's a 3-part gizmo. Ummm why so complicated? - To fit the holder into your Keurig, you actually have to remove part of your Keurig! Yes, the holder is too big so you have to remove the harness inside the Keurig that holds the sharp points that puncture the traditional k-cups (this is standard procedure by the way - instructions tell you to do this). Sure, that's a one time swap-out but what if you have other people in your house who want to use regular k-cups from time to time? You will have to swap this piece of your Keurig out every time. Really Keurig? Who thought of this idea and said: "you know, people will like this feature. It's not annoying at all." I'm guessing whoever designed this feature didn't have a spouse who might grouse at them for not putting the regular k-cup harness back in place after every cup brewed - you know, to be considerate of others and all. - The basket where the grounds go has a completely removable top. ok. no big deal so far, but this top doesn't seem to close tightly. So maybe 3 out of 10 cups brewed, the top pops off while brewing and you get a coffee completely filled with your grounds. The Keurig literally pumps your grounds out of the basket into your coffee cup. Hmm yummy. It's a good thing you can see them all over the cup before you drink or it would be one heck of a morning wakeup. I know this is a design and manufacturing problem because it affects both of the two that I bought. And to top that off (every pun intended), I returned one of them because it was not even staying closed after like the 2nd time I used it. It literally would pop off in my hand after I pushed it down. So I sent that back and got another one. I was thinking maybe, just maybe, I won the lottery and received two poorly manufactured products. Nope, the replacement did the same thing. What's worse is that the more you use them, the less tight the top fits to the basket. So your chances of a mouthful of grinds increases with use. Way to go Keurig. - One more "feature" I definitely did not like is that the basket is very narrow. I typically use a traditional small spoon to scoop my grinds into the basket. With this basket your chances of spilling are much higher because it's narrower than any other refillable filter I've used. Which means you get grinds on the rim that then have to be wiped clean or the top won't close at all. You all remember the top closing issue, right? So this just adds to that fun. - Price, price, price. $10 a piece? I don't even know what to say. I was expecting this product to be so much better than all the others out there because it's Keurig branded and costs so much. It turns out it's junk. I'm guessing someone dreamed up this idea and it went horribly wrong during execution but they decided to churn it out and sell it anyway. Someone deserves to be very ashamed of this product. I know I would be. Oh, and here's the good: - You can return it. Just return it and run the other way. I've used mine many times so I will just consider it a loss at this point. Maybe I can save the rest of you by sharing my experience. Don't waste your time. Return it right away and buy something better. I recently bought the multi-colored Reusable K cup filters for the Supreme machine (multi stream enabled) and they work great. so simple and easy to use. and so much cheaper! Good luck all. I hope I helped at least one person out there...

Make sure you get the correct size!
I'm sure that this is wonderful.I don't have the right size cause it doesn't fit right. And I waited too long to return it for a refund. And I don't have my owner's manual. So I have no idea what size I take.I just know it has to be smaller than what I purchased. But their products look very nice!

Saves money and works perfectly
The reusable My K-Cup filter from Keurig Dr Pepper works great and has already saved me a lot of money. It’s easy to fill, fits perfectly in my machine, and makes great coffee using my own grounds. It’s simple to clean and a great alternative to buying disposable pods. Highly recommend if you want to save money and reduce waste.

Great addition for the Keurig
Tried one of those small metal reusable k-pods but found them to be pretty useless so went for this. I have the UK supplied Keurig K-Cup machine that I bought from Sourced Coffee that also sells on Amazon so it didn’t fit perfectly and I had to trim one of the clips on the front of the holder with a stanly knife. Now fits perfectly and I can brew a decent coffee using my choice of beans without having to shell out for k-pods any more.
