This is more a review of amazon pricing than it is of the product. I take full responsibility for not price checking first. I paid 47 dollars for this product and shortly found it advertised by Pool and Spa Discounters for 8 dollars. As a result of feeling extremely ripped off I will be much more wary of my use of amazon and have told friends and family to do the same because of this incident.

We have a hot tub and our PH was low so this was the product we ordered and it seems to work just fine. Put in some and we run the tub for a bit then check it the next time we use it. Spa Essentials seems to have good products.
