PetStep Dog Ramp Side Door Entry Kit - Graphite/Gray

I am quite impressed with this product. My dog was having difficulty jumping into my Jeep and I needed a solution. I found a wonderfu solution in this PetStep dog ramp. After a few minutes of practice, my dog was able to comfortably walk up and down this ramp. The top of the ramp that sits on the car is sturdy and stays in place when my dog walks up and down it.***Caution*** You can easily pinch your fingers when closing the ramp, but it is not a problem if you are mindful.Although the ramps is bulky, it is not what I consider to be heavy and seniors can manage this ramp.One suprising detail is the spring safety catch to keep the ramp closed during storage. It even has a cut out as a handle.I have not yet used the side door entry kit. It appears to be quality made just like the ramp itself. I highly recommend this product!

The media could not be loaded. I needed a durable ramp for my 95-pound dog that would fit through my side door and that is what I got! So overall I am happy with purchase. The only reason I'm giving this product 4/5 stars is because you have to be careful when opening and folding the ramp because you can easily pinch your fingers. It's a design flaw and could have been made safer that way. I also think it's priced too high. Otherwise, it's exactly what I needed (good quality) and would be a good purchase, especially if you have a large dog, and are in need of a ramp through a side door (instead of the back) of your vehicle.

This is heavier than my husband expected and because it is hard plastic the dog slips on it when using.

This product gets 1 star, for being sturdy and having a good-quality walking surface (ridged, impervious to liquids, and non-skid).However, it is useless for the purpose I bought it for, which is to let my arthritic dog easily enter the back seat of my car. The ramp is too wide for the rear doorways of my ordinary sedan (Saturn Ion). It cannot be used at a slant, which means I can't use it at all.I tried to set it up at an angle, using the included support strap. This *might* have worked, but the support strap is useless if your car has the kind of windows that don't roll down completely flush with the window opening.I thought perhaps the ramp wouldn't work when at an angle because my driveway slopes a bit, so I loaded my dog and took the ramp with me to our veterinarian's. Still useless, even in the perfectly-level parking lot. The ramp is also heavy and bulky, making it extremely inconvenient to transport by car, anyhow.This ramp might be useful to someone who wants to use it with a truck, or other large vehicle with a tailgate. Otherwise, don't bother. Definitely wouldn't buy again.

We have a Toyota 4Runner and wanted some assistance for our two large senior dogs to load and unload from the side door. This works wonderfully! At first we were concerned with the steep angle, but the dogs were not and used it the first time! Durable, strong and great width!

I was a little hesitant to buy this ramp because at the time I bought it only had 6 reviews and it was pricier than a lot of other ramps I was looking at. However, I am very happy I invested in it. I drive a sedan (honda accord) and I could not find a ramp that would work for the back side door, most seem designed for trunks. This ramp works fantastic! It is easy to put in and out and most importantly it is very sturdy and does not move at all when my dog goes on it (he's 70lbs so not light). I figured such a good ramp deserves more reviews :)

Heavy, easy to pinch fingers, awkward to fold. Did not fit my rear door SUV as advertised. Too wide for rear door.
