What John would have eaten?
I got these for a class I was teaching at church on John the Baptist...the students were shocked, but everyone who had the courage to try them thought they were great. I was impressed that there were so many full bodied grasshoppers, not a bunch of broken up pieces. The BBQ taste is very subtle.

Large and plentiful
BIG grasshoppers and plenty of them! Many of my students gave these a try, but after one bite seemed to have had enough.

Made a great impact on the kids
Used these as a visual and "dare" to church school students when teaching a lesson about John the Baptist who lived in the wilderness on a diet of honey and locusts. Made a great impact on the kids.

BBQ Flavored Cardboard
I have to say we were overall very disappointed in the product. The BBQ flavoring was barley there and added nothing There was no crunch and the taste was closer to cardboard than cricket. This was far different tan the fried crisp tasty little morsels I had as a teenager in my Biology class with a forward looking free-thinking biology teacher in 1964. While many spots on the globe eat bugs as a protien source, I doubt this product would be happily part of that cuisine.
