I have used these devices for years and adds that extra tech to your older car which hasn't got the capability of Bluetooth. Easy to setup (only once) and recognises your phones Bluetooth connection when you start your car. All sounds from your phone then goes through your car speakers, so you can enjoy handsfree calls, streaming music, sat nav directions etc. You can also add a charging cable, so you can charge your phone on the go and also a USB stick with your music on to play. The only downside I have is that once you have chosen your free radio channel to use which must be free from static, you then have to make sure your phones volume is up to the maximum volume, so you get a better sound quality through you car speakers, other wise its very quiet even if you have the volume up on the Bluetooth device. Other than that, its a really neat device at a reasonable price.

Very Easy to use calls coming through nice and clear and no problems with the mic picking up what i was saying The only drawback with it is there are no instructions so if you are not tech savvy this might be daunting thankfully it is very easy to use once you've paired your device to it via Bluetooth press the channel button on the side next to the power button to select the radio channel then just tune your radio to that frequency to listen through the Cars Speakers being aware that if someone in the car next to yous radio is tuned into that frequency they will pick up what your playing so make sure your using a frequency that is not near a local station that is playing

I've had things like this before but tended to find the sound quality and signal strength pretty poor but they served a purpose. My current car had a built in audio cable so I could plug my phone straight into it, but when I bought a new phone that didn't have a headphone jack I had to consider something like this again. I wasn't looking forward to a potentially sub par experience again but with this item I've been extremely impressed! Not only is the signal and audio quality perfect, the addition of a fast charging port, potential and the ability to charge more than one phone/device at the same time, plus I can ask Google without having to press a button too, these are all bonuses I wasn't expecting to appreciate so much. My audio cable offered none of that before! It also quickly connects to my phone by automatically recognising it, so when I get out and connect my headphones, when I get back in the car it switches quickly back to playing through this instead. Nice! So, I'm glad I gave this a go as I can see how far the technology has come since the ones I used to own. Really happy with it now and has added something extra to my aging car.

I don't normally write reviews but i was so impressed with this device i felt i had to. I bought 2 of these, one for my Mercedes A Class and one for my partners Smart Car (both 2007). The set up and installation was so easy and the directions are clear and simple to follow. It took 5 mins per car. The only issue (as per photo) was that the stem of the receiver didn't go all the way in on the Smart Cart due to the location of the charging port and the surrounding dash elements, i had to rotate the device to get it in. However it went in far enough for it to power up and still be stable. I think in most cars there wouldn't be an issue and in the Mercedes it went straight in (give it a good push). The sound quality is only as good as your car sound system, and make sure you turn your phone volume up to maximum as well. Overall this gives an old car some modern functionality to be able to listen to music from your phone. Well worth the price. Lets hope they last the test of time. (i will update this review if anything goes wrong).

Be aware. The unit works great - BUT it ruins the FM reception for other channels on the radio...

Just couldn't get it to connect so returned it, awaiting refund now.

The quality and functionality is so much better than the 2 others I tried. The extra bass effect sounds really cool too but I didn’t even buy it for that. Only thing im not a fan of is the LED because it’s only one colour, can’t dim it, and don’t have the option to keep it solid instead of dancing. Oh, and it’s hard to see the keys in the dark. But don’t get me wrong this is a great device! Super simple to use, looks sleek and amazing sound!! ** edit: a few weeks later it randomly stopped working. Doesn’t play sound at all but will turn on and show colours.
