REVOLUTIONARY product: from a skeptic to an enthusiastic fan!
I first saw an ad for this product on YouTube and was impressed by dramatic results. My eyelids have always been a little droopy, but that did not bother me much until maybe a year ago (I am 44 now), when I started noticing more eyelid droopiness on my photographs, which was, obviously, upsetting. As this product is quite expensive, I read reviews, both positive and negative ones, prior to purchasing the variety pack (4-7 mm). The results I've seen on photos posted by successful users prompted me to go ahead and purchase. It's been a week since I got the package and I tried all the sizes. My impressions are below. I will also post my take on some of the negative comments I read here.- First, and most importantly, the strips DO WORK! I am very pleased with the results. The overal result is a fresh, rested look for the eyes. When the eyelid is elevated it also softens the gaze. I could not stop looking at my eyes in the mirror! I also FaceTimed my mother, and she was equally impressed and purchased the strips as well.- For new users, like myself, I strongly suggest purchasing the variety pack. I started with a 7 mm strip, but then discovered that 4 mm gives me the optimal balance of result vs daily wear comfort. I may use bigger size strips for going out or for any occasion where I may be photographed.- Regarding the comment that "strips are visible." I think this depends on the skin tone. I am light-skinned and I can hardly see them. I apply the strips to clean dry eyelids and then apply pastel eyeshadow over, and it works very well. I'd probably avoid dark eyeshadows when using these strips.- Regarding the comments that "strips are hard to use, uncomfortable and do not yield good results." I disagree with the hard to use part. Gently lift the strip by the very edge (do not apply too much force to the plastic forcep), the strips are sticky enough that they attach to one forcep tip, so you don't need to hold the forceps squeezed. Importantly, do not attempt to hold your mirror and apply the strips at the same time; use a good standing mirror. If the strips are uncomfortable and do not work as expected you are probably 1) using the wrong size 2) not applying them properly. The strip should not be too close to the eyelid edge (allow for a few mm away), and not too close to outer edges of eyelids, or your eyes will feel "sticky." First, open/close the eye and observe where the fold forms (somewhere in the middle of the eyelid). Then peel off the strip and apply right over where the fold is expected (this is why you need both hands when applying the strips). Once the strip is attached, run your finger over it to smoothen it out. For the "uncomfortable" comment part, I did feel the large-sized strips, to the point where they gave me a headache. Thus, I imagine wearing them only for a short period of time, and only if needed. I am much more comfortable wearing 4 mm, which I anticipate may become a part of my daily routine along with eye makeup.-Regarding the comment that "strips are difficult to remove." I suggest not rushing the process of strip removal, and avoid pinching the eyelids. I always remove the strips by their corners.I hope this helps. I do love this product, especially becasue I am not brave enough to consider eyelid surgery and because I LOVE how these strips make my eyes look. Highly recommend.

Painful Removal
I rarely write reviews but I am choosing to save someone the discomfort that I experienced TRYING to use these eye tape strips. I wanted to LOVE them, but they didn't love me :( Read all of the enclosed literature AND watched videos.. They all say, if placement isn't correct, just peel off and use another strip. Well, upon doing that, it literally felt like my skin came with it and it looks like I went 10 rounds in a boxing ring. Use caution when removing them! The adhesive is strong, especially if you are a bit older like me, 57, and skin is a little thinner on the eyelids! OUCHIE!

Good concept, but too difficult to apply
I purchased these last week. My practice application was uneventful and I learned where to apply. When it came time for the first actual non-practice wear, I followed the instructions and attempted to apply to my clean lids. Be aware that anything that touches the sticky part, even the provided tweezers, will "ruin" that area of the product, so the first time it touches your lid, it cannot be adjusted even if the flimsy thing flops out of position as you are trying to apply. The chances of the first touch of the application being correct are slim because it isn’t stiff enough to hold its shape as you apply. Then if you try to adjust the position, you’ll see inconsistencies in the clarity of the material, making it possible for others to see it on your lid. At about $.65 per wear, having to rip off incorrectly-applied units starts to get expensive. I went through six of them the other night before the placement looked acceptable (not perfect). But as mentioned, the area that had been touched by the tweezers (and my finger, once) turned white and didn’t adhere as well. You could see an edge sticking up and they were undeniably noticeable, which defeats the purpose. So I ended up throwing all six in the trash and not wearing them at all. If they were much cheaper (and they could be, as the materials probably cost less than the box they come in), it might be worth buying. I never did get even one to look the way it's supposed to, so it was a waste of money as well as my time. This is an update. I changed the rating to 3 stars because after a bunch of wasted strips, I finally got them to work. It's so difficult. But, if you get one on correctly, it is amazing the difference it can make. It honestly makes me look as if I've had a very good blepharoplasty. I found you can't wear eyeshadow, as it tends to stick to the outer edges of the strip, making them VERY visible. But on the bright side, when I wear these, I look better with no eyeshadow compared to when I don't wear them WITH eyeshadow (I've always used brown eyeshadow in and slightly above the crease make it appear like I have a visible crease). So when I wear these, I use eyeliner on the bottom lid only with mascara on curled lashes above. I feel like I look much younger and prettier with these on. They last all day; I wore a few pairs for two days. They don't look good by day 3, though, because the edges start to show more. The time I tried 3 days they actually slightly irritated my lid and it took a couple days to resolve, though it wasn't terrible. I do think they are expensive and may try to find a cheaper brand if I can find clear ones. If I can't, I'll purchase these again.
