This item was supplied with a cheap travel adapter for use in UK. Not mentioned in sales description. Firstly I believe all plugs on Uk require a fuse which this didn’t have. In any event the sharpener could only be used two handed with one hand trying to keep the connection to the flimsy travel adapter, which only worked intermittently!!! Hopeless product.

Returned as there was no electrical safety certification label(UK, EU or anything else) attached. 2 pin plug with UK adapter which made intermittent connection and no fuse.

My knives were quite blunt and the sharpener very soon stopped working. Later it worked for a while again before stopping once more. This has proved to be the pattern and, gradually as my knives became sharper the length of time in use is longer. Now we sharpen them regularly but all this takes time to achieve.

Has EU plug and non of the safety stamps it should (CE or bsi ect) looks cheap and tacky and isnt well made.

Leaves the Knife edge rough. Not the product for you if you have expensive knife set

I have had quite a few knife sharpeners and this one is definitely the best one for the money
