OMG so easy now to separate yoke. It's also so cute.

All these items were for a Christmas gift. Everything was excellent.

So, the first egg I did didn't go so well because I was impatient. I was kinda shaking it side to side to get the whites to fall out and the yolk ended up breaking towards the end. The next two were much better. I tilted it side to side more gently and it worked. It is no faster than using the shells to separate them, but you don't get pieces of shell in it and the highlight for me... it's pretty hilarious looking! I didn't even have anyone with me and I was cracking up! I don't know that I'll use this every time I need to separate the whites from the yolks, but I'll use it when I think of it and definitely will use it when we have guests. Too funny not to. And if you have kids... they'll love this! I might buy more as gifts... stocking stuffers for adult children comes to mind! Lol

Why I buy because it's cute and I know it would make my girl smile. Just buy it. It seperates the yolk super easy. You cannot possibly fail at using this. There is no science. It's well made, looks great even just as decor for the kitchen. It matches absolutely nothing in my kitchen I just got it because I know my gf likes just egg whites and I place it on top of the stove backing so she can't ever lose or misplace it. It stares into my gf soul every morning this making her think of the cute duck I bought her. Meaning that every morning is a great morning for her.. hence it's great for me. So.. in conclusion buy it now. You'll be happy you bought it for your gf or your family or for yourself. Please see pic of ducky in all his glory.

My husband had one of these before and it got broke so I had to replace it. He loved it that much that he wanted the exact thing replaced. If I sought on a James May cooking show. It works very well and highly recommended!

As described. Quality item - and I would highly recommend. The price is a bit higher than I found somewhere lately, though. But overall, I'm happy with it.

Je l'ai acheté pour facilité la séparation des blancs et des jaunes pour mon conjoint qui n'était pas très à l'aise avec le cassage des oeufs et pour mon fils. Conforme à la description, très bonne qualité, très mignon et fait bien le job. Seul hic, le côté coquille cassé sur le dessus du séparateur (les dents) empêche de casser correctement l'oeuf (cela éclate la coquille et en met dans le séparateur).
