Perfect for simmer in gas range. My pots always boiled so hard until I got this now things cook slower and evenly.

Produit de très bonne facture, poignée pliante très bien pour le rangement, en inox, et super pratique pour le feu gaz, J'en suis très satisfait.

Works as expected. Probably better to use flame tamer than not, but it does take longer to brew coffee with it, so plan accordingly. It takes 12-15 minutes to brew espresso (for me) YMMV!

Excelente difusor

It's been nearly 3 years since we bought these and they are still going strong with daily use. We've probably had them running over a hotter flame than recommended but they are still rock solid and have experienced no rust or deformation. The real winner is the removable handles - they are strong enough to position a big cast iron pot and come off with ease once set. Easy to reconnect and they fold and gently click into the diffuser when done. Very smart design. I used a set of diffusers that had wooden handles and the handles started smoking or disintegrating within a year. These have not missed a beat and I bought a second one within a week after realising how well made they are. The handles are not very heat proof (mine did melt a bit when they hit the burner ring accidentally but they don't need to be given they are removeable. Definitely recommend and the wife loves them too.

Eu realmente amo esse difusor, ele é muito útil, principalmente para fazer ovos, omeletes e pãezinhos de frigideira. E também uso para reduzir a chama da panela para fazer molhos e doces delicados, ovos, omeletes, e aqui em casa ele serve demais. Ele é tudo de bom, o cabo longo não esquenta e fica longe do fogo, o que facilita o manuseio. Já tivemos um com cabo de madeira que com o tempo mofou e acabou quebrando, além disso o cabo era curto e eu não gostava pois me sentia insegura. Não tenho mais esse problema com esse modelo. O contato direto com o fogo deixa ele com a cor alterada, manchado, mas isso não o deixa feio ou anula sua funcionalidade, ele continua funcional e super útil.
