Tactical Vest

I ordered this vest on Friday, and received in on Monday with 2 day free shipping. The vest feels like it is well built,and fairly limited, but that is what you will expect from a non-molle vest. I myself have to face the fact that the vest is meant for right handed people, and i am left handed, though that only concerns you if you have a pistol. I own a KWA kp45 ns2 gas blowback pistol (USP) and the pistol fits in the holster like a glove. I was a bit skeptical because the USP has a fairly large slide frame, but i guess i won the gamble on buying it. It was until i tried to fit the 24 round double stack magazine in the pistol holster pouch that started to trouble me. The pouch is meant for single stack magazines. I was able to put the magazine in the belt pistol pouch however. As for as the mag pouches on the left side (with respect to the picture) go...they can only hold one mag each. one pouch can hold either 1 ak mag with a snug fit, 2 mp5 banana mags with a snug fit, or a 1 m4 mag. Total that up, and you can hold either 3 ak magazines, 6 mp5 magazines, or 3 m4 magazines in it. Though fairly limited, 1 ak47 high capa magazine holds approx. 600 rounds. That is 1200 rounds all together. It gives you a "fair" load of ammunition. I recommend this vest for short skirmishes and cqb matches, but NOT long airsoft campaigns that would last 4-5 hours of play without breaks. Pros: -Feels like it would last. Decent quality for a CHEAP price compared to molle and other vests. NCstar is known for their optic replicas, and tactical apparel. -has a versatile pistol holster. It can hold a large frame pistol like a USP. Though monster sized pistols like a desert eagle would probably push it. -comes with a nice tactical belt with two pistol pouches that are just barely compatable with double stack (24 round) GBB magazines. -breathable, and fully adjustable. I am pretty short, like 5 foot 5 in. and the medium just fits me(with 30 minutes of adjustments) it seems like it can fit a fairly large person. From other reviews, i heard the large is giant sized. -nice convenient features of molle on the back. you can use it for a hydration system or something. -it has 3 other small pouches on the left that you can probably use for speed loaders or pistol magazines. (i keep 2 speed loaders in one). Cons: -Due to it being a fixed tactical vest, it is limited to customization unlike the molle vests. -Single stack magazine pouches. It is only a con if you are going to play 5 hour skirmish matches. -Adjusting sucks. But that is a personal con. -Pistol holster is wobbly, on the molle. I just reattached it, and reinforced it with velcro from one of the top small pouches and attached it to the pouch velcro on the holster to give it a more solid feel. There is still a little wobble, but that is ok because i do not plan to be sprinting with this vest. -pistol holster mag pouch is too small for a double stack (24 round) GBB pistol magazine. Overall, i give it a 5 out of 5 stars because of the fast shipping, and satisfactory results out of the vest. I hope to use it in a game this coming week. Keep in mind that i reviewed this vest from the first impressions it gave me when i received and messed with it. I am 8 out of 10 certain that this vest will not fail me in games.

First off, I got this in the mail in 5 days. I live in Washington so this was a pretty cool and fast shipping process. I'll get right into it and say that the zipper, and all clips are plastic. My brother ordered another vest and hist are metal. The fact these are plastic bugs me. The mag pouches can hold AK mags, as well as mags for my KWA SR7 (Regular M4 Mags)It is a very tight fight if you have an M16/M4 Mag. There are other vest out there that can house these better. It has a very stiff feeling to it, and has a slick surface. The pistol rounds that are to the left (Right if you're looking at the picture) do not fit anything. My Gas blow back pistol mags could not fit. Yet My brother's vest could hold them. The pouch to the left of the picture is pretty cool, I put a spare bag of BBs just in case. At my last game I had 2 granola bars for fighting tactical hunger-ness. The pistol holster is pretty cool, it fits my 1911 Gas Blowback pistol. It has a plastic clip so your pistol won't fall out. Again it is slick, but it's better than most because it's designed at an angle, allowing quick release. There are also pockets inside that zip up, covered in soft mesh material. It is layered with 2 of these "Mesh Material" so i know it's somewhat high quality. Though it may get snagged on a tree, I like the overall construction. At a fraction of the price of other MOLLE vest (With nothing on them) this is a steal. Though it is plastic, it is defiantly what I was looking for. I'd shop around more if plastic bugs you, or if you don't like NCStar. But overall, it earns itself a 5/5 for it's price and what you get.

I have received this vest today for airsoft matches and general utility. So here are some things that I would have liked to have known, and that I think might be helpful to you. Material The material of this vest if fairly well made. Fabric is about the same thickness as my BDUs and good quality. The velcro is nice, and the fasteners are solid. The mesh is highly breathable, but it is the one area of the vest that I question. It looks like it will be able to fulfill it's intended purpose, which is to act as my tac vest until I can get a fully customizable plate carrier and pouches. The pouches The product comes stock with a general utility pouch, 3 magazine pouches for the M4, a pistol holster with a pistol magazine pouch built in, three pistol magazine pouches, and two pistol magazine pouches on the utility belt. All of the magazine pouches are single stack, meaning that you can carry a pistol, 6 pistol magazines and three rifle magazines with the stock product. Adjustment When you receive this product, everything will be tightened to the max and it will only fit the smallest of users. It can be adjusted, however. The straps are the same basic type you'd see on other tactical gear or backpacks, so it's not difficult in the least. The belt will need to be adjusted too. There is velcro underneath, so it's simple to adjust. It is a small hassle with the magazine pouches, though. Customization There is a certain amount of customization that you can do to this product, although not a lot. There is MOLLE style webbing in the back that you can attach a hydration pack to, which means that you can attach other things if you so desire or leave it bear so that you can wear a tactical pack. The pistol holster and the two pistol mag pouches on the belt are also detachable. The belt is apparently load bearing, which means that I should be able to add extra pouches for my needs. Another note is that the webbing that the pistol holster is attached to is slanted at a 45 degree angle. Good for the pistol (it is a cross draw vest, after all), but not so good if you're taking that out to add additional pouches of your choosing. Wear Loaded up with the gear you are using and properly adjusted, this vest does not feel that heavy and distributes the weight alright. I don't have other points of comparison, however. Shipping This product was received in a timely fashion via FedEX with 1 day delivery. The box is absurdly large and stuffed with shipping paper, and the product does have a strange smell out of the box that quickly goes away with a little bit of airing out. Still, it came in alright and undamaged and that's what counts. Conclusion This product gets a 4 out of 5. The reason why I say that is because I thought the rifle magazine pouches would be double stack, and the fact that they're not is a disappointment. I also haven't worn it out in the field, which keeps me from putting my full support behind it. But it's good quality and $20 less expensive then if you bought it at a surplus store.

This vest was made for a large person and i am a medium build i tightend all the velcro strass on the vest and it still is to large the seller forgot to mention this to me so i am rating it at 1star. I own other vests similar to this one in other colors but this one is just to big.

I like it. Wish there were one or two big pockets but I really like it Does the job well

For the price, it's ok. Once you know what your load-out is like, you'll want a full molle vest. The cross draw holster is a little loose and the stitching is generally... ok.

This was for a Halloween costume and it was perfect. The belt and all attachments were great. Lots of room/pockets for accessories.
