Since they aren't included, how long of tongs do I need to get in order for my nephew to be able to reach the creature inside the volcano reactor? Ty.

The volcano inside is only a little larger than one of the pods, 3-4 inches perhaps. Small kitchen tongs would probably work, or simply a spoon or my son often just uses his fingers.

Experiment aside, would this plastic volcano be fun for my 3 y.o. grandson to use with his lego sets?

Great fun for a 3 year old. Just need to add vinegar for the bubbling fun. Sorry not sure about how it fits in with the lego sets.

How do I order more reactor pods?

Just search Amazon for Beaker Creatures. There are 3 series. You can order 6 at a time, currently, April 2020, around $18-$24 for 6. Series 1 are about $18, series 2&3 are about $24 for 6.
