WARNING!! DON'T BUY, horrible product....
The warranty on this product is 3 months. 12 days after the warranty the saw stopped cutting only after 20 CUTS!!! Not only that the blade cut crooked. Also the cheap plastic table of the saw is not flat and very difficult to pop in and out. I rate this product with zero stars but I had to put one.

nice for small jobs
was broken when i got it and the box showed no damage. It leaked every time I used it. because of where it was broken.

ok if you are slow
This saw would be acceptable for the DYIer who is not in a hurry. The pore little motor just cant be pushed to hard.

Good for the price
We've used it several times for smallish jobs (bathrooms) and lent it out to others with good results. As other reviewrs have said, it works, but you have to go slowly (don't force the tile). Also, it won't cut 6" tiles in a single pass...you have to turn them end-for-end. It cuts cleanly and quickly and so far I've been satisfied with the product. That said, I just had a problem with the blade stopping and discovered that the plastic bushing on which the blade washer rests is worn, causing the blade to slip and not be gripped tightly. I took it apart and cleaned out the broken plastic pieces, then tightened the nut as much as I could. So far so good. I'm trying to buy a new plastic bushing (part #174922), but so far, no luck.PS - I just found out that Felker is out of business and the parts are no longer available.

Great tool for the money!
I've rented professional tile cutters before buying the FTS-50. The professional cutters feel more sturdy but this cutter has been a great little workhorse. My wife and I did our bathroom and continue to loan it out to friends who are remodeling. For a budget tile cutter I could not be happier.

Good luck with that
I used it on ceramic and porcelain floor tile. A few years later I am working on the Kitchen back spash tile, the cuts are not clean, so I start hunting for a replacement 5 inch blade. Good luck with that. Time to buy a different saw due to the blade being discontinued (not even on ebay). If it is a one time use and disposal isnt a problem, it was ok.

Good luck with that
completed a medium sized bathroom with this and found it to work only okay. The saw was bouncy and somewhat messy. I pulled it out the other day to start another project. The blade stopped rotating after a while so I decided to purchase another 5" blade. Good luck with that. So I tried to down size to a 4" and the arbor is 7/8" which is IMPOSSIBLE to find. This renders the Felker FTS-50 dumpster bound. Good for one time use.

Good DIY for small project
I just purchased and used for a small project with many cuts (bathroom)with 13x13" 3/8th tiles. The rip guide is difficult to align, easier to use a marker & free hand. Cuts slow , but clean, virtualy no chipping. I called Cust. Service for technical support, had to leave my number, but did receieve a call with in 1 hour (B-). Table has slight bevel in lower left corner which surprisinlgy belongs there.
