Sugru by tesa - Moldable Multi-Purpose Glue for Creative Fixing and Making, Black, White & Gray, 3 Piece

I recently used Black Sugru to repair a broken clip on my desk mounted fan, and I couldn't be more impressed. The clip had snapped off entirely, making the fan rattle useless without it. What makes Sugru so effective is its moldable, putty-like consistency that turns into a durable, flexible silicone rubbe. It was incredibly easy to shape around the remaining hinge and rebuild the missing piece. Once cured, the bond was rock-solid. It saved me from having to buy an entirely new unit over one small piece of plastic. If you have anything broken, frayed, or rattling around the house, keep a pack of this in your drawer. It’s a total lifesaver!

I bought this for a small repair job, so I was a little disappointed that you can't keep an opened pack & have to use it all at once or just have to throw the remainder away. Mind you, that's just probably my ignorance - though perhaps they could sell very small individual packs for small repairs? Anyway - it worked well for its intended original purpose, and I coincidentally broke the handle off a favourite mug on the same day so was able to superglue the three pieces together again & then use sugru to fill in the gaps on the joins & then reinforce each area. It did take 2 days to fully dry/harden on both jobs I used it for, despite not being in thick pieces or layers - so that's something to bear in mind if you use this stuff. Additionally the black sugru does colour your fingers / vinyl gloves / anything it touches, so make sure you cover your work area / hands & keep it away from your clothes. All in all it did what I needed it to do, despite being a little on the expensive side for what you get - so I feel I have to knock a star off for price & having packets that result in unnecessary waste if you're only needing a small amount.

I have the dreaded Kokoon Nightbuds that keep fall apart and are now discontinued but I love them and haven’t found a replacement that I’m happy with yet. In the meantime, I thought I’d try and fix it with this stuff and I am blown away! I had no fraying wires so was safe to do this. It was really easy to mould. It dried within 12 hours but I didn’t use it for 24 hours to be safe. Everything still works and although it chunky, the wire is still really flexible. I’ve used it a few nights now and it’s working a treat! Really pleased I found this solution!

It’s easy to shape by hand and doesn’t get messy, which makes it much simpler than normal glue. I’ve used it on a few different materials and it seems to hold well enough for light jobs. For £6.99 it feels like decent value, especially with Prime delivery and the option to return it if needed. Not a miracle product, but useful to have around.

Amazing product. Let down by the fact that it expires very quicly. In the three pack i was sent. 2 packs had dates in 2026, but the third was already 3 months expired. Considering how little you get for the price, I would expect what little you get to at least be fresh!

I used Sugru by Tesa (white, 3 pack) and found it really handy for small fixes around the house. It’s easy to shape by hand and doesn’t make a mess, which makes it much less stressful than normal glue. I used it to repair a loose hook and it held firmly once set. It sticks well to wood and metal, and feels strong enough for everyday jobs. It’s also useful that it’s waterproof and doesn’t crack easily. For £5.99 it felt like good value, especially with quick Prime delivery and easy returns if needed.

The black glue left a black residue on my fingers. Also, I'm not convinced that the glue holds up when exposed to water or heat.

Worked really well to repair the cracks in my cars dashboard, though it does turn a dark shade of gray and doesn't remain black once it's set.
