RL-HM012 Digital Hours Tachometer

I was a bit sceptical about buying this Tach / Hour meter, but after the first time I used it to set up the new carburetor on my chainsaw, I was completely impressed with the ease and accuracy of the tachometer. Just lay it next to the spark plug and it instantly picks up the induction from the plug wire and reads out the RPM's. There was no need to connect the included wire for any of the lawn equipment I tried this on. This is easily one of the best little "tools" in my box, and for the price, if / when the battery dies, I will definetely buy another.

Yours it too tune my new chainsaw after break in . It's very accurate. Did not fluctuate much. Definitely work the money very simple too use. Wrap the wire 4 too 5 times around plug wire. Zip tie end back too the wire . Worked great for me. Used it on 4 other 2 stroke engine.

Just hold it close to the spark plug and it reads RPM. Also can be mounted on the unit to teach run time hours . So inexpensive I bought two ! Factory settings and carbs with limiter caps do not work up here at 4,000’ . Set the mixture with max RPM at idle and see it back down as you turn the screw , set it down 500 . Then crank it up to Max speed . Look up your unit’s spec and set Torre limit . Now starts well & runs great !!!
