I have always used green light for when I needed to do things at night. I retired as an LEO in 2018 and always had a green light for when I worked deep nights. Green light penetrates much better than white light. Plus, you screw up your night vision. WAYLLSHINE 3 was perfect. It is sturdy and punches out a great burst of green light. I have already dropped it several times and keeps on working. Any flashlight I buy has to have a clip to secure in your pocket and the on/off switched button has to be at the rear. Great light for working at night or would be great for night hog hunting. FYI, I learned through experience that when you come up on a perp and you pop on the green light, they a confused for just long enough to take them down. Perps are use to white lights and the green light just throws them off for a second. I will be buying more of these in the future.

I got 4 of these for me and the family. We got red, blue, green and UV. They work fine with the AAA, but I bought the 4500 batteries and they are quite bright and nicely zoomable. They are not that big. In fact, they're pretty small. Good for the kids, I guess. Anyway, they are what they are. I'd recommend them for a smaller novelty flashlight. They seem pretty durable.

This flashlight had been through a lot. I bought this because I am in Army ROTC, and, during field training, they require any flashlights to have a red lens. This is always one of the brightest ones out there, and I sometimes have to cover it with my hand because it is too bright. When I focus the light, I can see things better 50 m away than most people can at 10. In terms of durability, this has survived dew, rain, heat, cold, and has gone through a literal swamp and still works. It has lasted through a number of weekend field training events as well as 19 straight days of training where it was my only source of light at night, and only on the last day or two did it start flickering occasionally. I bought a new one recently, and now I carry it almost anywhere I go at night due to it's compactness and because it is just as bright as any white light I own, and it won't ruin my night vision if I find myself in a situation where I would need it. I don't doubt there are better red lens flashlights out there, but I would be shocked if you could find anything comparable at this price.

I've now used this on three hunting trips for a grand total of ten minutes of "run time." It is far brighter than needed and the focusing adjustment works very well; it is however a bit loosely fitted and rattles a bit. Speaking of loose finishes, the battery compartment is much larger than the aaa battery it needs; more rattling and a loose connection from time to time. I did have to pry the pocket clip out a little cause I couldn't uclip it without stopping and putting down my bow to get two hands involved. Notably, it is light enough to easily loose, but heavy enough to hear it when it hits the ground under 8" of grass; probably all the rattling.

I use this light almost daily while deployed at sea for the Navy. The lumen are bright enough to clearly work with and preserve some night vision, while getting away from the harsh red that is common throughout most of the night vision preservation flashlights out there when I'm working on deck at night, early morning, or going through the berthing. This light has also come in handy when we have had sudden loses of power to help get me on station. I do hate the annoying strobe feature, but I hate that on every flashlight that has it, so this is not unique to this light. I wish manufactures would stop including it, no one ever uses it. I have not used the larger batteries in it to increase the brightness. The current output exceeds my needs. I have dropped it a few times from waist level on the deck with zero negative impact to the light output or function. Seems durable enough.

Be advised this flashlight is a piece of junk, got one use of it after it started acting up and now not working. DO NOT BUY!!!

I purchased for nighttime rock pool spotting & camping - Coral & Anenome's pop out like beacons in the dark. Super convenient with 1 x AA or similar rechargeable, for longer sessions It's a quick swap and carry on.

I use the bluelight while doing my police rounds at night in the rural areas. It is bright enough to see without losing my night vision. Great product.

The title and product description say this is a blue light and mention nothing about it having the abillity to be anything else (white, red, uv, etc). All the images in the listing show a red light with no mention of alternate colours. THIS IS A RED ONLY and NOT BLUE flashlight. It's qood quality, has the different settings, nice clip - metal and attached with metal screws. There's nothing wrong with the product...as long as you want red light and aren't thinking you're ordering a blue flashlight.
