Nice Looking and Sturdy Headphone Stand
The Kanto H2 headphone desktop stand is a very sturdy design. It looks great, has a decent weight making it very stable, and uses silicone pads for protecting the desk surface and the headband of the headphones. The curved support cradle is critical in preventing compression of the headphone cushion and should help prevent that over time. The extra tall design also helps by letting you keep the cord attached and without causing it to bend at the desk surface- a very smart design feature. The finish on all parts is excellent as is the construction detail. It arrives fully assembled and ready to use. For reference in the photos: This is being used with the RรDE NTH-100 headphones. One last thing to note that is super important to online shoppers: This item ships in a product box that is amazingly well constructed and should prevent any damage from even the roughest shipping. It's rare to find product packaging this good- you will be impressed. Overall this is a 5-star headphone stand from Kanto.

Great headphone stand for only $40
This is my first Kanto product, and second headphone stand for my desk. The first one I bought was from Master & Dynamic for a set of MH40s that I have. That M&D stand is significantly less sturdy, stable, and compatible with a wide range of headphones for nearly 3x the cost of this Kanto headphone stand. This Kanto headphone stand is fantastic in my opinion. It is incredibly sturdy and stable. I love the finish of the material and the rubberized top of the stand is perfect for a wide range of headphones. I alternate using it with my HD650 and ATH-M50x headphones and they don't not have any negative impact on the headband. Whereas with the M&D headphone stand, it is essentially a 6.3mm diameter metal post that doesn't distribute the weight at all and leaves a dent in the headphone band. I can't believe this only costs $39 and think it not only looks really nice, but is a great value as well. I would recommend this to anyone who likes the way this headphone looks.

Amazing stand for the price
Easily the best headphone stand ive bought for a reasonable price. Its also way heavier than expected so I no longer accidently tip over my headphones. This stand allows me to mount my Hifiman Arya Stealths with the pads flush so its more supported but the ear cups rather than the headband like some other stand. The finish is great, the material seems durable and id buy this stand again and again for future headphones.

You could pay more... but, why?
In an industry plagued by audiofool nonsense, this stand is a refreshing dose of excellent value. It has thoughtful design, fantastic quality, and strong value for the price. Sure, you could pay lots more for something fancy, but this one does everything the boutique stands do (and sometimes better!). The gently padded broad headband rest protects your expensive headphones from wear damage. The stand won't tip easily, and is super easy to assemble. This product is a great example of what hi-fi audio should aspire to.

Possibly the sturdiest and affordable steel stand out there
At regular MSRP, I would be slightly hesitant to buy this headphones stand. But at $30 discounted price, this is easily the best and sturdiest steel headphone stand you can buy. Since the whole body is made out of steel (except the padding on top), it has quite some weight to it. You would have to swing your arm at it for the stand to tip over. The only other steel stand that I can think of (and have used) with the same sturdiness would be ROOM'S headphone stand. The ROOM'S quality are exceptional and the height is adjustable. However, you can get 4 of the Kanto stands at the current price with the money for ONE ROOM'S stand. Even though the Kanto stand is not adjustable, I don't really have any issues with headphones cable attached and sitting on the stand. I have seen some reviewers saying that the padding may be dust or fingerprint magnet. I have STAX headphones cover covers over the stand. Therefore, I cannot attest to that. At $30, I cannot think of anything bad about these since it checks all the boxes for a sturdy headphone stand, unless you are looking for height adjustment like the ROOM'S.

Great stand
This is an awesome stand. No frills but looks clean and feels extremely sturdy. It holds my Audeze maxwells (heavy) perfectly.

A nice stand... but not for hi-fi grade headsets. Too much deformation of the ear cups.
This stand is above average in its price range. It arrive nicely packaged (fully assembled), it is heavy enough to be very sturdy, and it is very easy to place a headset on it and to take it off. The support for the headband is very wide, more than enough for headphones such as Sennheiser HD600, Sony XM1000XM3, and even wide enough for Audeze LCD-XC. The headband support is not only wide, but also flat across its length, which means the headphone with wide head support will rest nicely without headband being loaded unequally. All these good things lead to a single, but significant for higher quality headphones downside. Which unfortunately makes it unusable for the application which I meant to use it for. The earpads in high end headsets play a pivotal role in the quality of sound in headphones priced in the range from about $300 and up. Their shape defines how sound bounces inside of the ear cup, and their shape integrity determines how well the ear cups seal around the ear. Even glasses may have impact on this seal. For this reason, it is essential to store the headphones in such a way that earcups are not exposed to uneven pressure which can result in their permanent deformation. This stand, alas, does not meet this requirement. Its center support, which is kind of an oval shaped tube, or if you want, a rounded rectangular cross-section tube, is rather thick. My old Sennheiser HD600 pads barely touch the center support, so I can use the stand for them (but I got those headphones back in 2001, and their headband may have loosened up and got adjusted to the size of my head over the years). In contrast, I absolutely cannot use this stand for Audeze LCD-XC. Its large and rather soft earcups end up being pressed against the center supporting column of the headphone stand and get deformed at the point of contact. To make things worse, the width of the supporting vertical column is narrower than the width of the earcups, so earcups get depressed in the middle. In such storage position, it will not take very long until they are ruined. The stock picture used by Amazon gives an idea of how earcups are pressed into center support. This stand does not work for the intended purpose, unfortunately, but the good news is that I can still use it for my older headphones and do not need to return it.
