After reading this, i realised a lot of mistakes i'd made in investing, and why i'd lost hundreds when i started investing. After reading this book, i know i'll still make mistakes as there's no predicting the complex world of stocks, but i at least have the ability now to do due diligence. Note that the book "Investing in shares" is the UK equivalent of this book, going into the UK tax laws. It's the same book, but for a UK audience.

Muy bien escrito y editado. El autor explica bien y tiene buen sentido de humor. Recomiendo el libro. Compraría más de este autor. (Tengo la versión en inglés.)

The book was still very useful to get familiar with all the concepts around investing and which factors can influence the stock price. But it could easily have been summarized and even improved in half the amount of pages. The author writes too much text to explain certain principles. What bothers me the most is that after reading one or more paragraphs explaining a certain concept, I'm still left with considerable ambiguities about what the concepts exactly is or how it behaves exactly. I'm not so fond of the bad jokes, and the author seems very biased in his explanations (contradicting other sources on investing and clearly expressing negative feelings towards socialism).
