Rhode Island Novelty Easter Eggs Bght Plastic Egg Assortment 144 Pieces

Just arrived today. Yes they are flimsy. Yes I can see where others complaints for them not easily snapping together is true. The reason I purchased them is for a classroom project. Students have to match the bottom to the top. I snapped off the top so the "hinge" would break. After I did that they worked great. Now if you are using them to hide for Easter then yeah, I would go for a stronger product. But if you are a teacher like me and want to use them for a learning activity they work great. Also, I was happy it wasn't all pastel colors. I got some bright prime colors as well. I am planning on buying more.

Using for a craft project with roving yarn to felt. Only problem are the tiny holes in both ends. They were also very hard to close. However, the price was right and the shipping was very quick. I solved the problem of the holes by covering them in electrical tape.

These are your typical plastic Easter eggs. Mine all came in perfect condition. There were 144 of them exactly, 36 each of 4 colors: pink, green, blue, and yellow. They don't have hinges so they come separated which is a bit annoying because you have to spend time matching them up and putting them together. They gave me like 6 extra green tops with no bottoms in addition to the 144 eggs.They close pretty easily and seem pretty secure. I filled mine with candy and taped them just in case. But they snap together pretty nicely.The colors I got were okay but not like the picture. I got a medium blue (like a regular blue), medium green (like a regular green), a pink (regular, pastel but not magenta), and a yellow (mine was not mustard colored). They were fine for my purposes.To give you a reference for size, I could JUST barely fit a mini kitkat in one with a bit of squeezing. I could also fit some m&m's or jellybeans with the kitkat. So they're a pretty standard size.I would give it 4.5 stars if I could; I take off half a star for the colors not being accurate and for being inconvenient to match up 144 pairs.A lot of people are complaining that some are broken or don't work right. Realistically, most Easter eggs are pretty cheap in quality and have trouble closing. You get 144 of them so you can afford to have some not working.

I ordered 5 orders of these egg packages for a youth event and at least 10% of them would not fit together at all. We set them aside and tried again with basically the same result. As for the other eggs: some were super thin, some broke apart when lightly tossed into the holding box, and others broke apart when carried to their hiding places in the holding boxes. All in all it was a huge disappointment and because of the poor quality of the eggs added a lot of extra time to our day.

I read some of the negative reviews about these eggs and almost did not order them, but I really needed them for a project I am working on, so I ordered them any way. And guess what? For me, they turned out to be perfect. They snapped together with no problem. The colors were beautiful and I received the same number of eggs for each of the six colors (pink, purple, green, blue, yellow, and red). Also, I needed eggs with no hinges because I am making some games for my young students (I am an elementary teacher) where they will do matching--such as matching uppercase letters with lowercase letters, matching synonyms, matching opposites, etc. I could not find any such eggs listed for sale. Therefore, I was thinking perhaps I could twist or cut the hinges off of the eggs. And it turned out that I was able to just twist some of the eggs and the hinges came right off. Some of them had hinges that came apart but were hanging. I tried using a pair of plain old desk scissors to cut off the hinges and much to my surprise, they cut right off and did no damage to the scissors whatsoever. As you can see, I am delighted with myself for ordering these eggs.

My wife and I purchased these eggs for our daughter's Easter party at school. While they looked fine, the plastic is very flimsy and quite a few of the eggs randomly popped open after we put candy in them. Some were so poorly made that we couldn't get them to stay closed empty.We didn't expect much for the price (and the kids obviously didn't care), so I can't complain too much. I will say that if we planned on keeping these ourselves to reuse in the future that I don't think they would have help up in storage.

Based on the wide variety of experiences reported in these reviews, I truly believe different people are receiving different products all under this same label. My own experience was extremely frustrating. I bought the eggs to use to store slime in that students were making as a de-stressing activity, but the batch of eggs I received had two holes in the top and bottom of each egg and were useless for that purpose. (I see in the answered questions and in the reviews that some people receive eggs with holes, others do not. This should be consistent!!)I then tried to use the eggs for a different activity, putting a piece of candy and a slip of paper inside. About 25% of the eggs closed easily, 50% closed with some time and effort, and 25% would not close at all or would break when I tried to close them. I would never give these eggs to children to try to close because they would be liable to pinch their fingers--or even get cut by the jagged plastic edges.The eggs were bright, bold colors (i.e. red, yellow, green, blue, pink, purple) that looked like I would expect. And the price seemed right at first. But in the future, I'd rather pay more for a product that has better quality control and can be used as intended, rather than having to throw away a quarter of the items I purchased.Very disappointed.

This is a great buy if you're filling up a large number of eggs for an Easter egg hunt. The plastic is good quality, and the two ends fit well together. The colors are a little bit more pastel than they look in the picture (and since they're Easter eggs, that's a good thing). The eggs can fit a fair amount of candy--I placed two Rolos and a mini Reese's cup in each, and had room to spare.

After going through and messuring to make sure the correct size. we recieved the wrong size. we cant even use

とてもきれいな色のタマゴがたくさんでエッグハント、とても盛り上がりました。残念だったのが、開封したら１０個以上割れていて使用できなかった事。それでもたくさんあったので楽しめましたが、もっと割れてなければもっと盛り上がったのになぁーと思いました

注文してから届くまで約二週間かかりました。在庫ありの表示はありましたが、空輸との明示がされていなかったので、いつ届くのかがわからず心配でした。　内容自体は、不良品もほとんどなく状態はよかったです。予備も数個含まれており、配慮を感じました。飴玉２個を入れてエッグハンティングをしました。

コスパは良いのですが、入っていたカラーがイメージと違ったのが残念でした。

毎年このエッグを購入していますが、今年のものは全て閉まらず不良品で最悪でした。。もう買うことはないでしょう。
