Hard to measure
The Kreg pocket hole jig has the measurements needed to set the depth of the drill and the jig, this doesn’t.

Never expected this to be my most used PH jig...
I'm here after buying my 3rd one. I have PH (pocket hole) jigs that are overpriced *Stares at Kreg with distgust*, and some that are large and worth the money *Winks at Massca* but they are limited in function for most applications. However... This small Trend single hole is a great little jig. It's fast, and easy. I use it for quick, temporary, underlying framing and I'm amazed at how well it can work. From ½in plywood, to 4x6 lumber, it can join just about anything I need. Best of all, I decide where the holes go (as long as I have a long enough but... which is really easy to make). So while you may have an overpriced blue PH tool, you might use it a lot less once you try this one. Trend doesn't have as much of their tools as I'd like here in the US, but the ones they do have here, are great!!!
