Featuring a new hybrid of Class-A discrete FET design, the Looking Glass’ asymmetrical clipping is so responsive that it can go from one end of the spectrum to the other with not only a flick of a switch, but with pick attack alone. The Looking Glass Overdrive is collaboration between DOD and the boutique pedal company SHOE Pedals. Christopher Venter of SHOE Pedals is known for his unique circuits, colorful perspective on classic effects, and minimalist design aesthetic. Built for maximum versatility, the Looking Glass’ unique Input Filter feature allows the player to tame overly bright guitars and interacts with your guitar’s pickups to help you cut through the mix without shredding the audience’s ears. The versatile, intuitive pre-drive Bass Cut and post-drive Treble controls allow you to retain clarity in the mix or dial in any raunchy raw tone you desire. And, there’s enough output and gain on tap to make even the Red Queen lose her head. The Looking Glass is true bypass, which allows your guitar tone to remain pristine even when the it is off and the power supply input makes it pedalboard friendly. Internal DIP switches to reduce unwanted effects of overly-bright signals and buffers. Review: Excelente boost-overdrive "transparente", tono neutro, respeta tu tono de guitarra al completo y es sensible si bajas el volumen desde la guitarra, no limpia del todo pero casi. Me recuerda mucho al Marshal Bluesbracker y al Timmy. Tonos desde un boost limpio a overdrives medio y medio-alto. Gracias a la perilla "Lo" y "High" puedes ecualizar muy fino si bien en sus limites los cambios de tono no son extremos. La perilla de "input filter" no acabo de entender que es lo que hace, es muy sutil el cambio, parece que es como "presence" pero repito, es muy sutil. ACLARO QUE MIS OPINIONES SON A VOLUMENES DE SALA DE ENSAYO Y EN CASA, probablemente a mayores volumenes los cambios sean más drasticos.

Realmente es un grandioso pedal overdrive ya que responde muy bien a ataque de las cuerdas, me refiero es que su atacas muy fuerte las cuerdas el efecto es fuerte y si las tacas con menos intensidad el efecto hace lo mismo, para mi esta perfecto por la música que toco en este caso rock indie. Me gusta mucho que puedes setearlo con las perillas con las que cuenta el pedal para encontrar tu sonido ideal ya que también te ayuda mucho las perillas de tu amplificador y el volumen y tono de la guitarra. Este pedal lo había buscado por muchos lados hasta que lo encontré aquí a un excelente precio, sin duda es uno de mis pedales favoritos que siempre esta activo en mi pedalera, muy recomendable.

Looking glass is a very appropriate name for this pedal. It truly sounds glassy. I use this on my clean sound with just a little bit of overdrive and it sounds incredible., and it’s still a clean sound. This pedal does not have lots of thick overdrive. Like I said my clean sound sounds great with this pedal, and it still sounds clean. I just makes the highs ring more sorta of like my Vox ac-30, and it tightens up the lows without adding low end. Nothing like this out there. It’s pretty cool. If your looking for a distortion pedal with lots of distortion or a heavy sound, this is not what your looking for. If you what something to use on a clean sound, or just a bit more drive for solos this is great.

Was soll ich sagen. Es ist mein Haus und Hof Overdrive für leicht angezerrte Klänge. Es bringt so einen gewissen Biss in den Sound (über die Höhen), was einfach einmalig klingt. Kann so kein anderes Pedal, was ich kenne und macht mich jedes Mal glücklich. Hinzu kommt, dass es meinem Friedman BE-OD über den Treble-Boost auch noch einmal ordentlich Würze verpasst und somit auch perfekt mit Pedalen für höhere Gangarten harmoniert. Für meine Zwecke das perfekte OD- und Boost-Pedal.
