This is the best purchase I make in a long time You don’t have to use lighting cubes or anything special, just newspaper rolled up on the underside works perfect. Takes about 20~25 minutes and you're ready to cook. I recommend purchasing the larger one. You won’t be sorry.

I love this thing! I throw some newspaper or the charcoal bag under the basket. Put some vegetable oil on the paper, fill the chimney and wait. In about 20 to 30 minutes the coals are hot and ready to go! I tried the soak it down with fluid method and never got the results I wanted. This works perfectly every time! I have used a few brands if charcoal too! And they all work perfectly! I couldn't ask for better! When mine wears out, I'll buy another one for sure! Totally worth every cent!

I had the smaller Weber one for my other smoker that I brought to the cottage and wanted a bigger one for the new smoker. Boy, it is bigger alright! I'd say it's double the capacity of the smaller one. Don't have to use lighting cubes or anything special, just newspaper works fine. Takes about 20~25 minutes and you're ready to cook. And only a couple of bucks more than the smaller one!
