Easy to make kindling!

Works great. Only issue is the rubber protection at the end is tearing from use.

"When I purchased this product, I had high hopes. However, within just 10 minutes of use, the orange plastic shaft cracked and is now on the verge of falling apart. I wish I had taken heed of the reviews before buying it. The orange plastic shaft feels hollow, more like a child's toy plastic axe than the sturdy wooden axes we grew up with. For instance, if I were to strike a log and get the axe head stuck in the wood, the shaft would break instantly if I tried to bend the handle to remove the axe head. I urge anyone considering purchasing this product to be cautious and consider other options."

The product was just what I wanted and it beet the price at the local stores. And with the fiberglass handle I will be safe from a broken handle.
