This is the best shrimp paste sauce similar to the one from Penang in NYC but better. However, it seems that the lid is not airtight so it is easily leaked during shipping. My first order was delivered totally leaked even to the box. Second one was OK. Amazon did not pack securely with padded material and the glass jars were rolling inside the larger box for both cases, even after I asked them to pack them securely. The only difference is that my second order was with the Amazon Prime shipping delivered by Amazon. The first one was standard Amazon shipping by USPS, although I was still an Amazon Prime member. Therefore, make sure to buy it when Prime shipping is available. Minus one star for the price because it is more expensive than the market price by $10 which is about 150%.

Paste was spilled all over the packaging. Not sure about the quality and freshness of the product.

Excellent and good package

My package arrived like this. Juice or oil from the sauce leaked all over the package. Containers were not boken when I picked these up and plastic wraps around the lids were stil attached but some how the lids were not tightly closed.I needed this sauce for my recipe and was really execited to have this in my hand. NowI feel like I wasted my money and time.

I would not recommend buying this product. The shrimp paste with bean oil arrived leaking as shown in the photos. There is also no way to refund the product, very disappointed.
