Eros' music means a lot to me because his last album "Alas & Raíces"/"Alas & Raíces" practically saved my life when I was thinking about suicide in 2009. His music is something that cheers me up in difficult times.Some of his songs are so related to my life that they make a perfect description of what I've gone through.So I was nervous about what this album was going to offer and now I can say this album is GREAT.This album contains a whole new sound with very few of his old style ballads but what makes Eros' music so special is still there: Poetic and meaningful lyrics."Somos"/"Noi" contains a high number of duets and music styles that are very unusual for Eros but I think he's at a time of his career when he wants to try something different without taking off what he does best: Putting poetry into music.I liked all songs except for "Hasta el éxtasis"/"Fino all'estasi" and "Abrázame"/"Abbracciami" but I mean, there's always some songs you don't like in an album even if it's from your favorite singer.Apart from those 2 songs I liked them all but there are 6 songs that are top-notch music for meAHORA SOMOS/NOIAt first this song, for me, was just another generic song to fill out space on this album but after listening to it a second time I understood this song is very personal for Eros because he wanted to express how people change over time and that we can become what we dream of becoming. "Ahora Somos"/"Noi" is one of the very rare cases where I like the melody more than the lyrics, it does not mean the lyrics are bad but its melody is just so special and there's that part at the 3:02 and 3:18 min mark where's there's a guitar solo is out of this world."Sólo el miedo nos podría limitar"Only fear could limit usESTE TIEMPO TAN NUESTRO/QUESTA NOSTRA STAGIONEThis is one of the few old style ballads we can find on this album. This slow-paced song is a perfect mix between poetic lyrics and excellent melody to describe a happy relationship between 2 people enjoying time for them. No hate, no break ups, no separation - Just pure love because love is a celebration."No hay amor verdadero que no necesite de algún cuidador"There's no true love that doesn't need careYO SOY TÚ/IO SONO TEI was pleasantly surprised by this song and even downloaded on ITunes before I got the album, perfect to cheer you up during difficult times. It tries to bring hope during "storms" and "hurricanes". I usually dislike when there's a spoken part during a song but Andy García and Giancarlo Giannini make a wonderful work in here, each of them in a different way so I don't like those people who are comparing the 2 versions."Si hay huracán que rompe el cielo azul, Tú camina solo pero yo soy tú"If there's a hurricane breaking a blue sky, you walk alone but I am youAMIGO MÍO/INFINITAMENTEThe best song we can find on this album and one of the best of Eros' career. The first time I listened to it I couldn't play the whole song because its lyrics are very moving and touching. Eros dedicated this song to a deceased friend of him and I couldn't stop thinking how much sadness he had inside that he had to take it out with such song. The slow-paced melody makes it perfect and poetry is present in every single line of this song."La guitarra sigue ahí y la tengo aquí porque, porque ha medido el tiempo que estoy ya sin tí"The guitar is still there and I have it here because, because it has measured the time I've been without youDOS MINUTOS/POLAROIDVery risky 80's style song that I thought I would never like it but I loved it in the end because it's something very different from his usual style. Also, you got to love the lyrics describing one of those old wonderful relationships you had in the past but you're no longer together and haven't seen him/her in years and sometimes you wonder what happened to that person especially when all that remains is a very old photo.I understand that feeling and Eros, instead of doing a melancholic song, celebrates the good things from the past. Perfect."La melancolía nos sirve para ir adelante y recuerda que somos importantes"Melancholy serves to go on with your life and remember that we're importantASÍ/COSÍI had my doubts about a duet with this Italian group [Il Volo] but this song is one of the very few duets I have ever really liked from Eros. Their voices match perfectly with the wonderful lyrics and amazing melody to bring a song that will be featured as one of the best duets Eros has produced."El corazón es como el mar sin viento"Heart is like a windless seaApart from these 6 songs I want to point out that the other songs are very good too but I want to mention "Baila solo con tu musica"/"Balla solo la tua musica" is a very contagious song that has that something special. Also, "Testa o Cuore" is a very good experiment with rap for Eros and that's what I was talking about a whole new sound.In the end, an excellent album with new sounds but the same poetry. Eros' magic is his ability to have both profound poetic lyrics and catchy pop sounds. Few artists are able to transmit such emotion with simple harmonious melodies. Eros transmits joy and hope in this new CD, perhaps because of his new wife and daughter. My favorite songs so far:Un Angel como el sol tu eres - very catchy, very good choice for first single.Este tiempo tan nuestro - my favorite no doubt! The most romantic!Baila con tu musica - beautiful song!Amigo Mio - instant classic!Asi - excellent duet, my favorite duet of his career after Cosas de la vida with Tina TurnerAll other songs are also great, catchy and will put you in a happy upbeat mood!

Not as sappy and romantic as some of his past albums (which I loved), this one has more guitar, drums, and a blues-y sound that I like. I also like the way his lyrics are going. His style keeps evolving, and he just gets better and better.

I am a new fan of Eros Ramazzotti and he is fast becoming one of my favorite artists. I would like to be able to get more of his music in Italian though.

Eros has a captivating voice and the melody and lirics of his songs are amazing! I own most of his CDs.
