(Pack of 5 Multicolored 3-Mode Flashlight: Red, Green, Blue, 395 UV, White LED Light Flashlight

This is one of the brightest blue LED colored flashlights I have ever used or owned. I haven't tried it out as a blood tracking light as of yet so I can't comment on that. What I can say that it is a nice, small size for pocket or purse carry and the zoom from flood to tight beam is very handy. Unlike white LED lights, this one doesn't blind you when you turn it on when you eyes are used to nighttime. For those of you thinking that it is a UV light, you will be disappointed. Those of you looking for a light that won't night blind you or for special effect uses for blue colored light, this is your answer. Since it uses an easy-to-find-anywhere AA battery it is cheap to keep it ready for use. It is also useful for detecting some day glow colored items. The unit itself seems to be well made and reliable. For the price, it will be hard to find a blue LED flashlight that works as well.

These are great little lights for night time hog hunting. Very affordable and brighter than I anticipated.

This works great !! I have a salt water reef aquarium and needed a small red flashlight so that I could spy on the fish and other critters at night without freaking them out. I really didn't want to spend too much on this item: I just wanted a functional red flashlight. I've tried 2 other red flashlights before this one: 1. The first one had 7 red LEDs...then 2 stopped working..then another 2... until I had 1 lone red LED. I sent that one back. Thanks Amazon for your great return policy 2. The second one wasn't really a red flashlight at all . Instead, it was a normal flashlight with a red cap over the lens. The fish were NOT fooled This Wayllshine has worked great with no issues at all. The price was right and delivery was right to schedule and the fish barely pay attention to the light. The only caveat is that every third time you turn it on, the flashlight goes into a disco-type flashing mode. I'm pretty sure that this is an intentional but so-not-needed feature

This light may or may not be bright enough for you as it depends on what you are using it for. I use this red flashlight for walking on a trail at night with other people. We use red so as not to kill night vision. With a bright white light, your eye adapts to the lit-up spot where the flashlight hits the ground and then you can't see the dark areas off to the sides. But with a not-overbright red light, you can see all around you. I hold this light about below waist high in my hand aimed so the illuminated spot hits my feet and 6 ro 8 fet in front of me. So the light only has to reach between 2 and 8 feet. With the focus set to "wide" and just an Eneloop 1.2 volt rechargeable AA battery the light is just the right brightness in "high". But with a 3.7-volt battery I need to turn the light to "low" setting. I have not yet tested the burn time with a full battery but after a two-hour hike with white 1.2V 1900 mah battery, the light had not dimmed at all. About the color, the lens is clear and the color is made by the LED itself. I don't know the wavelength but the color is very saturated and seems to be the best shade of red for my purpose, I think they hit the color dead-on. As for build quality. It is better then one would expect for a $9 flashlight This is NOT the light you want if you want to see 50 yards in the distance at night. but is perfect if you want to avoid stepping in hoes or tripping over rocks while retaining to the ability to see the un-lit surrounding

Very bright, this is what you need if you want to retain your night vision. It has a simple pocket clip and a pushbutton. NOT what is advertised, however - don't know what is meant by "zoomable, scalable." There's a switch, you turn it on or turn it off, and that's it for controls. And yeah, you could probably see it from 150 yards off, but "range?" Wonder how they measure it, interferometer? Probably measured by some copywriter who's never actually seen one, getting up from his chair to get coffee and finding a steaming pile of description still on the chair. If you get my drift . . . Correction 10/6/15 Based on comment, I went back to examine the thing, and sure enough, it does zoom. Barrel was sticky. Also, it has three modes, accessible by pressing the switch again, not til it clicks. It has a high, low, and flashing mode. You'll have to play with it to figure it out, but it does work.

Flickers on and off and works intermittently after just weeks of use. Low power light, can’t recommend this.

Awesome pack of lights to showcase light theory to young minds!

Really love the Alloy-Looking Aluminum Casing! Such a beautiful Red Color! Has never let me down. If you buy the Stronger Battery that they offer you inside the package, it will be MUCH brighter!!!!! Forgot that this flashlight is smaller than I remembered. I have small hands and the flashlight still looks small. Has great brightness! Beam is rich red. So if you are ok with a small package but wanna strong rich Red Color in the night.......this one would make a great little buddy!

Works and still same batteries

Very bright green light

Works well

Great!!

Working outside at night this flashlight makes is easy for my driver to locate me in the mist of many yellow or white lights
