Doc Elliott Beard Balm-Black Label

This Doc Elliott stuff is the Business!I bought my 1st one at a barbershop and couldn't find it on Amazon for a while. I am glad its finally here! My Wife Loves the scent, happy wife, happy life, hahaha

My husband loves this beard balm. It smells great!

This balm is my go to for going out or special occasions. I use this in conjunction with their beard oil to get the best results. The smell is probably the best smelling beard product on the market. It's a subtle citrus fragrance that leaves your beard smelling clean and fresh and with this balm, the fragrance sticks around longer than just a few hours. Be careful not to over do it as this balm is thicker than most and can leave your beard greasy if you do but the consistency is just right for taming my wild hairs. It's not necessarily the best at conditioning your beard as I've had products that get my beard softer but it will have it looking good all the same.A word of warning though - this is the only beard product I've used so far that gave me zits around the chin and mouth area. It's really heavy stuff so it can be easy to over do it if you're not careful.

I've tried a ton of beard balms over the last few years, and Doc Elliot (black label) is my favorite. Buying balm online can be a pain since they vary so much, but a few things set this stuff apart:1. It's thicker. Not too thick, but thicker than most balms I've tried - this is great, because you can use just a little and it'll go a long way, or a bit more and get some nice hold if your beard gets a little wild or is longer. Mine is the latter, and this stuff gives good hold (and shine) all day. Frankly I don't understand why more balms aren't thicker like this is - you either need/want some hold, or you're probably fine with beard oil. Thin balm isn't very useful.2. It's a killer value. The can is 4 oz. - most other balms are about half that, but cost considerably more than Doc Elliot. This stuff could cost 30-50% more and be in-line with plenty of other balms out there.3. It's versatile. I ran out of hair product a while back, so gave this a shot - and it functioned as a totally solid pomade. If you're a pomade user, or like some shine, this could serve double duty. Personally I opt for a more matte hair product (which I believe Doc Elliot makes, and I should try), but still, killer in a pinch.It also smells great and conditions skin and your beard wonderfully. Haven't used the white label but have smelled it in person and it was great too.Highly recommended if you're looking for a balm with some hold that is an awesome value and smells great.

It Contains PEG-40 which is a little questionable, but they assured me it's just Castor Oil - not a deal breaker. Smell is ok if you like smell of Vanilla for the white label. Black label IMO - very strong barbicide smell....Hold is really good. Price is great for 4oz tin. Overall its a solid balm with really good hold, especially for the price.

I bought this product as a addition to Doc Elliott's oil and it is a outstanding product. The balm has nice stiffness in the can and melts well in the hand for applying to the beard. I have a curly beard and Doc Elliott's balm keeps it in place and looking great. As with the oil this has a awesome scent that i love as well as my wife. And a great plus this comes in a 4oz. tin that is a unreal for the quality of this product. As with Doc Elliott's oil i give this balm a big thumbs up.

This beard balm smells great! Compared to some of the other balms I have bought, this can is much bigger (more bang for your buck). My beard is softer and does not itch as much. And I know I already said this, but the scent is awesome! I would definitely buy this again. I received this product at a discounted rate for my complete and honest review.

I bought the black label for my bf and it is my favorite of his collection of beard balms. I don't know much about this company but you can tell they put a lot of thought into what the product will smell like for both the "wearer" and anyone who snuggles with the "wearer". More guys should try this stuff, your significant other will thank you!
