Bought two sets of these nice looking place mats on the 16th March 2018. Because of some of the recent reviews highlighting the damp looking patches we have taken great care when wiping these mats to avoid similar problems. Unfortunately this hasn't helped because we have got little dark patches appearing despite being very careful so this looks like an inherent problem and I don't consider these mats cheap. I would not recommend these place mats.

Sadly, while these look lovely, spillages mark really easily and permanently. It seems as though the edges aren't well sealed so the oils from any sauces that come into contact with the edges seap in and under the top layer, despite being cleaned after each meal. Given the beautiful designs and the cost of these, we had hoped that they would last longer than a couple of months.

I bought these as we’ve been given some of the coasters for Christmas, and it feels like there will be a durable set of placemats for the family. However the reality is that within only a few weeks of having them a few of them have been damaged through family use, not what I would deem as excessive use just normal use. I don’t personally think the lamination on the top is strong enough considering the price you’re paying for these products. Therefore I don’t believe they are value for money.

We've just ordered our second set of the coasters as a couple of the first became damaged over the many years we have had them. These are unique so far as we can tell since they are made from melamine, a super-hard and durable plastic that lasts for a very long time and is extremely durable. We have six of the table place mats, too, and, again, they are excellent.

I love these! Great artwork on a good quality coaster. The coaster is thick and has a cork base. The vinyl type top seems in good condition and the art is so lovely, a true country feel to it. I love the scruffy owl, rabbit and fox but the duck, pheasant and badger are just as good.For the price these are a great addition and i truely believe they will be moving with use to our next house in the country, where we hope to get matching sets to go with these coasters.
