Rubber-Cal Elephant Bark Flooring and Rolling Mat

This stuff is great for under rolling chairs on hardwood, or simply covering any other small area that you might otherwise put a rug.It is easy to trim with a fresh utility blade, and the odor of the rubber dissipates fairly quickly.Could be used on bare concrete as a moisture barrier. It works well over unfinished floors in closets as well.

Exactly what I needed. Thick, heavy rubber mat. Cuts easily and cleanly with utility knife but is hard to tear. Used as floor mat under washer dryer on tile surface. Eliminated dryer walk and did reduce noise a far amount. Left over pieces are being used as standing mat in garage next to tool bench and are working quite nicely. If open box is available get it without worry for less than half price. This mat is tuff and stands up will to abuse.

Overall a great product. One piece came with a few tears and they are slightly different sizes. Bought 3 4'x6'.

I don’t normally write reviews as I’m a pretty forgiving guy but this must be said. I ordered 3 of these flooring pieces and neither of them were cut correctly. Two of them I could work with even though they didn’t line up seamlessly with the baseboard due to the ends of the flooring being cut at an angle but what made me write this review is due to the third piece. As you can see in the photo it is not nearly as long as the other piece; and no I didn’t order different lengths. The flooring itself is good which is why I gave it a star but whomever is in charge of cutting and measuring this flooring should fine employment elsewhere.

Elephant Bark is perfect over a concrete floor, for an office chair. The chair I use daily glides smoothly and quietly now. The slight padding of it also helps keep the chair in place when I'm leaning back. Plastic chair wheels on concrete can be annoying, and this product obliterates that problem (it's the perfect solution to hard wheels, reversed).The rubber odor went away after a week. I'd say to most people don't put it in a poorly ventilated room until it airs out, but the smell didn't bother me from the start.The rubber texture is very slight and it's mostly smooth. I'd expect if it got wet to be more slippery than concrete. It's not a doormat.It's as easy to clean as a bare floor, which is really awesome. I hate carpets and rugs because they make real cleaning next to impossible.The various sizes available are convenient. I bought a 6x8 foot, quarter inch thick one and it fits the area I use it in nicely. I'm definitely going to buy more Elephant Bark in the future.

I bought two 4x6 products. They were shipped separately and after receiving the first on in perfect condition I was shocked by the second delivery. Since I had no time to wait for a replacement I trimmed material and installed into trailer as it was delivered. This product is extremely fragile when it comes to bending. They shipped it rolled up ant that was enough to split the product in multiple locations. This makes it easier to trim. Just score it and bend backwards and it will break exactly where you want. Unfortunately it means their shipping needs to be on point otherwise you will get what I did. It looks to be a great mat if you leave it on a flat surface, you just need to make sure when you move it your careful.

I was surprised by the overall durability and thickness of the product that I received. I ordered the 1/8th-inch thickness and felt that it was at least as thick as that. Impressed with the density and forgiveness in laying flat. Was afraid that the memory of the rubber would take time, but laying it out in the sun for an hour got it completely flat.I'm using this as a garage apron over rocks to keep my car's track tires free of debris when pulling in an out of the garage. It's standing up to the weight and abuse that the rocks put on the underside of the mat.

Great heavy flooring. I use it in my basement for play with my dog. It does not have a strong rubber smell like some others have suggested. I like it mostly because it is heavy so it doesn't move around and it's not attached so I can move it if I ever want to without tearing it up. It also gives the balls that we play with more bounce. I covered about 300 ft of my basement floor with this.

Great product and good value

The media could not be loaded.  Doesn’t slip, looks like good quality, but edges are ripped and torn and am worried about overall durability overtime. I wish I could get a bit of money back for it since it doesn’t look ‘new’

Annoying. Ordered 6 1/2 by 4 ft for a weights bench and got sent 5 1/2 by 4 ft. Only reason I’m not returning it is that got it for £20 and it can still fit it under a turbo trainer.
