Lethal Slingshot Ammo
I call these killers for short. The smaller sizes have that ability as well I’m sure, but hitting something with a slingshot at full speed using a .5” is a death sentence or at the least a maiming sentence.I use slingshots for target practice. Though I own a few different types, I do prefer the basic wooden wrist rockets and would like to build my own. Sometimes I use specific trees and branches for target practice. Last week I decided to trim a few inches off of a branch eight feet off the ground and just as I launched, a bird flew right into the spot. The bird died upon impact.I am a true animal lover and this brought me to tears if we’re being completely honest. I gave the bird a burial and made a cross out of twigs. My young puppy was with me and watched all of this in awe and amazement - her first experience with death. I have two hamsters getting older and she loves them and considers them her children she watches over them so seriously when I let them free roam. Follows them all over the room. It’s a real sight to behold.Anyway, I’m hitting a 2.5” metal pole as a target, mid- to halfway-up, from 5, 10, 15 and 20 yards with continuously increasing accuracy. 25 yards is quite difficult and requires a different shooting technique, and 30 yards is the holy grail that I’ve only hit once and it was barely a glance. I train with clay balls sometimes which makes steel ammo SO MUCH EASIER. Especially these killers. And anything within ten yards I would hit wherever I’d like to, eyeball, mouth, Adams apple, solar plexis, penis area, shinbone or knee, you name it. IN A SELF DEFENSE SITUATION OF COURSE.For hunting, these are the best. If there are larger ones out there I haven’t found I’d like to try, but for many slingshots .5” is pushing the limit of shootable size. For that reason and everything else I wrote, I believe this product to be amazing and the best ammo for slingshot hunting AND target practice but it can get a little costly. Still worth it.

Good slingshot ammo
Round, hard, heavy. Seems to be about 500, no I didn't count. I like these compared to a smaller ball. Makes more noise when flying through the brush as I'm more going for deterence at this stage than actual hits. No rust or oily residue. Fast shipping.

No complaints, got the job done
Very heavy solid steel rounds. Seem to be true to size. Worked for what I needed them for.

CAME AS ADVERTISED
My order just arrived yesterday so I haven't had time to use these yet, however I did pull one out of the box and it is oil free, it is smooth and polished, it does seem to be 1/2" . Are there 500 in the box, I can't say but otherwise I am pleased so far and I will be ordering more soon.

It hits hard and it's a nice supply for me
Great for a slingshot, and I am happy that it fills my slingshot ammo box so I can carry it around

Best Ammo for HDR 50
Starting with the 11 Joule version of the HDR 50 from MCS I then installed the HDR 50 power kit from Home defense 24. I also removed the air restrictor at the entry to the main gas chamber. I was shooting these 8.4 gram solid steel bearings at an average speed of 373 fps. That equates to an average of 54.5 Joules!!! (see attached graph) I also added data for the Devastator an Rubber/Steel ball ammo.

These appear to be relatively soft uncoated steel.
I was expecting chrome coated hardened ball bearings. These are not that. But they are completely adequate for sling shot ammo which is how they are marketed.
