Y’all.. my scalp was SO bad I was fixing to shave my head and I thought I had tried everything. UNTIL. My mama finally told me I had cradle cap as a baby. So I dug into research. OUR SCALP SECRETES TOO MUCH YEAST! Y’all I thought that if I let my “natural oils” soak in my scalp it wouldn’t be so dry. Wrong! I read how the ketoconazole fights off all the yeast. And that us lucky folks have to wash our hair everyday. Y’all I used nizoral anti dandruff shampoo once and immediately felt relief. Not a huge relief, but enough that I relinquished the thought of shaving my head. I paired that with this tea tree shampoo and conditioner from maple holistics and my scalp is not snowing 😩 now I can go every other day without a wash if I want. Saved my head. My hair is so soft and I actually like the smell of the tea tree oil. OH and the conditioner makes ur scalp feel SO FRESH and tingly. And for the best results rinse with cool (like warm) water so that the pores in your scalp shrink a little. I tend to just leave the conditioner in until I’m ready to get out the shower and turn the cold water up just a little. It also helps to regulate body temp. 💪🏼 I really hope this saves y’all like it did me

Definitely love this product ! Works well with bad dry scalp / scalp psoriasis Al little bit about me: Mid length,colored hair, Fine texture, straight I have psoriasis all over my body and really bad scalp psoriasis all year but especially in summer and winter especially. I've tried prescription shampoo and they never worked for me, they also had steroids in it which is very bad & didn't help at all, in fact I think it made my scalp psoriasis worse, and it dried out my hair and stripped my highlights, my hair was constantly getting tangled up & dry. My hair color is in the toned down blonde highlights and my natural hair roots are dark brown. This shampoo and conditioner duo does not strip my hair color/highlights, does not dry out my hair, best of all ITS ALL NATURAL! NO STEROIDS, NO SULFATES /HARSH CHEMICALS! After the initial use of this shampoo and condition, I was able to see and feel the difference ! My scalp was less and less itchy after each use! I look forward to each shower session!!! Definitely great for those with really bad scalp psoriasis, I will definitely purchase this duo again! The scent is very light, you cannot even smell it, which is amazing!!! The shampoo: Goes on nice, feel a slight cooling effect and when rinsed out your hair feels EXTREMELY CLEAN & FRESH! The Conditioner : Love the conditioner, after you apply it, massage your scalp and you will feel the nice tingly fresh sensation!!! Which really does mend the itchiness of your scalp! Even after your hair is completely dry! I air dry my hair, it dries really nice and straight, no tangles, and no dry ends! Definitely recommend this product!!! A little bit of shampoo & condition goes a long way! Just wish they had bigger bottles of this duo!

Product arrived yesterday and I couldn't wait to try it out today. First impressions upon opening the bottle was it smells wonderful. Both the shampoo and conditioner have a nice consistency, not too thick but not runny. I used a quarter size amount of the shampoo to wash my medium length hair and it was the perfect amount. I let the lather sit for about 3 min (per instructions). After rinsing I was a little skeptical because my hair felt coarse and dry. I continued a used a quarter size amount of the conditioner and left in it for 2 min (per instructions). Again I was a little skeptical as to how well this was going to de-tangle and condition my hair because it felt so light and non-oily. After rinsing I was pleased to find my fingers slid right through my hair, no tangles. I dried and combed my hair and its silky soft and I already see a difference. My hair is normally frizzy in the winter and today it is still frizzy but much less then normal. My real reason for trying this shampoo and conditioner was to clear up my dry itchy scalp. Since this is just my first time using it I will have to come back and leave an update as to if it worked. So far so good. I would say my only complaint would be the conditioner did not give me the tingly scalp feeling as described. While it is not a deal breaker for me I was slightly disappointed. So for that I am giving this product 4 stars. If I could do 4.5 I would. UPDATE after using it for a few months* I love the way my hair feels and smells after using this shampoo and conditioner. It hasn't completely cleared up my scalp build up but it has helped reduce it quite a bit.

Oh my gosh. Let me start by saying I have tried multiple different shampoos made to help the scalp(dryness, itchiness, dandruff, etc) and they all seemed to work a little but I would always feel like I was settling on a product I didnt like the smell/quality of. The last shampoo and conditioner I tried was the WOW brand and although it seemed better than head and shoulders, I didnt like the smell and had to use a LOT of the product to even cover my head. Even then it left my hair greasy. This shampoo arrived and I was a bit skeptical but willing to try it. The smell to it is very much tea tree oil, which I happen to love. It smells great, and natural at that. I initially put a palm sized amount of shampoo in my hand and instantly realized it was way too much. This shampoo is THICK!!!!! and silky smooth. I have thick hair down to my waist and needed probably half the amount of my palm. The lather was beautiful. I immediately felt the slight tingle on my scalp as I massaged it in. The conditioner is also thick and has the same smell and tingle effect. It left my hair clean, soft, shiny, and smelling amazing. I 100% will be ordering again. This bottle will probably last me months though, as it is so thick and high quality and I only wash my hair every couple of days. If you are on the fence- I say GO FOR IT !!!

I ordered this set because my bf & I both wanted to try something new that you don't typically see at Walgreen's or the grocery store. We heard that tea tree oil is supposed to help with itchy scalp &/or dandruff. I'm convinced that it definitely helps with scalp issues! You can feel it start to work & soothe your scalp as soon as you start to lather up the shampoo & you get a very refreshing, clean aroma from the scent of tea tree oil. It's nice because your scalp continues to feel so clean & cool even after you get out of the shower! The conditioner is also so soothing. My hair looked shinier & felt so silky smooth. TIP: You don't need to use very much product at all. My hair is pretty long & I used about a quarter sized amount in my hand for the shampoo; even less for the conditioner!! This quality is great because it makes the product last so much longer than you'd expect! (Just make sure your hair is completely wet with water when you're ready to lather up!) Hope this helps! Pros: Smells good, tingles, and clear instructions Cons: Shampoo actually tangles your hair while in the shower, shampoo seems to do nothing, not worth the money, roughly 4 minutes of letting shampoo set? Then another 4 minutes for conditioner to set? Only for it to not actually help your scalp. Okay 1st off, I'm using an online water softener/filter on my shower, one that's so good that it makes Pert seem like the greatest shampoo in the world. This product however, the shampoo seems to do nothing. No tingle, no revitalizing feeling, and it literally makes my hair tangle, and I'm a man with shorter hair. I bought this due to the reviews in hopes of controlling dandruff/ seborrheic dermatitis of the scalp. It has done nothing to help that. Bio Silk, which isn't for that condition, does a much better job than this stuff. I've been using the shampoo and conditioner, per instructions, for a week now with zero results. Thank goodness my shower head has a pause feature. I will say this though, the conditioner, although not the best on the market, does smell very good and also does make your scalp feel revitalized. It actually kind of burns, but in a good way. Alas, the combo does not help with seborrheic dermatitis at all.

I’m hooked. This shampoo and conditioning set is my saving grace. In my 40’s now, I began breaking out in little painful pimples on my scalp. I tried T-Sal by Neutrogena and noticed I kept having to buy more and more and it was getting super expensive at $7 a bottle. The T-Sal wasn’t helping to heal my scalp. It just kept breakouts to a minimum. Well, I looked here for help after all else failed and found this product. I read many reviews and didn’t really see anything on scalp acne, but thought I’d try it. Omg! I felt the essential oils working immediately after first using it. My hair felt clean. SUPER clean. The conditioner made my scalp tingle and it felt amazing. The shampoo doesn’t have much tingle. I also added about 10 additional drops of tea tree oil to the shampoo just because I had so many sores on my head. My scalp is clear. NO PIMPLES WHATSOEVER. I am eagerly awaiting my second set as we speak. I used it as directed on the bottle. It doesn’t take but a quarter sized amount to wash my shoulder length hair. I wash twice and use the conditioner once. I initially used it daily and now I am back to washing my hair every other to every third day without issue. No new breakouts. My scalp is healthy looking and I can brush it without having pain. I bought their other shampoo called Degreaser along with the Silk-18 conditioner for my daughter as she has trouble with oily hair. I have noticed her hair is looking amazing two days even after shampooing. I believe in this company and will never use another shampoo/conditioner. The bottles have lasted me over a month. I still have some left in my first bottles. Perhaps 2-3 washes left. Also, I was suffering from tons of static in my hair and with these products, I have little to no static. I love MH and will be telling everyone I know about them. Oh and it does suds up amazingly but make sure you rinse a little longer than you’re used to with regular shampoos/conditioners. Not a big deal. And I noticed a lot of complaints about having trouble squeezing the bottle, but I didn’t see it as a problem. If you have arthritis, I can see how it could be difficult.

I purchased this product to try and alleviate constant dry scalp and dandruff. I'd read that hair products containing tea tree oil may have antifungal, antibacterial, and antiviral properties. I am happy to report that I fell in love with Maple Holistics tea tree shampoo and conditioner set. I have used the products once weekly for a couple of months now, and I see and feel the positive difference in my scalp and and in the reduction of oil build-up in my hair. The itch and dryness has dissipated! I love the cool "tingle" I experience when washing my hair. It assures me that the product is penetrating and cleaning my hair and scalp thoroughly, but it also moisturizes in a light, non-greasy manner. The conditioner softens and detangles my hair for easy comb through, and the smell is awesome!!! I'd recommend this product to anyone seeking to alleviate itchy, dry, flaky scalp and oily hair. It works.

Hair feels very clean but yet soft and got the volume after hair drying out too! Not cheap in my opinion but happy with the results.

I've had issues with dandruff for a couple of years now and have tried several products ranging from cheaper drug store brands like T-Gel, Alpecin & Noughty to specialist ones, but never found anything that really works. So, I thought I would give this brand a chance after seeing pretty good reviews for it across a few sites. I've only used this for a month now but it's improved my dandruff so much that it's basically all gone. There's only a speck or two left but with continued use this will no doubt be gone too. The products really do feel natural too. No harsh smells - just a fresh and pleasant smell of tea tree and a bit of menthol - and the consistency isn't too gummy or tacky like with some cheaper brands. The conditioner also leaves a really relaxing tingling feeling on your scalp, which for me is a nice de-stress element. Would highly recommend this for anyone who's found other products aren't working for them

I bought this due to having severe dry scalp issues. Makes the scalp feel nice, cold and refreshed but alas does not get rid of dry scalp. Smells good though.

Definitely wouldn’t buy again. I’ve got good hair… this did nothing for it. Not a great shampoo, as I said, would definitely not buy again . The search for the holy grail shampoo And conditioner continues!!!
