Think of this book as being like a tasting menu…
I think this book is fantastic! I’ve immensely enjoyed some of the pieces in this book. My favourites are Lord of the Rings, Gladiator, Lion King and Dances with Wolves.Many years ago I played at around Grade 5 standard and as other reviewers have noted, if you’re at about that standard then these pieces won’t be that difficult for you (although Tubular Bells from The Exorcist is giving me quite a challenge). BUT they’re fun and easy to play and give a good sense of the original music. So think of the book as a tasting menu of some great tunes that you can sample without chewing off more than you can swallow.

Schlecht gesetzt und akkordfrei
"Für Menschen, die einen ansprechenden Satz wünschen."Leider entspricht der Werbesatz überhaupt nicht der Wahrheit.Abgesehen davon, dass die Begleitakkorde fehlen und man sodie Akkorde aus den Noten schätzen muss (was alles andere als Standard ist), ist der Notensatz meistens unmotiviert, einfach bzw. einfach schlecht.So zieht sich bei "Chariots of Fire" ein sinnfreier Ein-Ton-Bass (wenn auch als Oktave) über mehrere Seiten. Fast keines der arrangierten Stücke klingt wirklich gut.Wer gute Notensätze sucht, kann zu Carsten Gerlitz greifen, hier findetman auch zusätzlich Akkorde zum Improvisieren (und zwar gute wie bei "Tears of Heaven" aus den Pop ballads 1).Ein umfangreiche Sammlung arrangierter Filmmusik bietet daneben "100 of the best movie songs ever" - mit Begleitakkorden und nicht teurer.

Si tienes cierto nivel de piano, enseñanzas profesionales de conservatorio por ejemplo, se queda escaso y le falta contenido a las piezas.No buscaba algo complejo sino con mas contenido y riqueza de recursos.En este caso es de una sencillez compleja. yo lo utilizo para ver cosas a primera vista, pero me cuesta trabajo. Y para estudiar para tocarla de forma individual se queda corta.No obstante si lo que buscas es una adaptación sencilla de las pelis, en algunas si ocurre en otras lo veo complejo y al mismo tiempo insuficiente.
