Super thin and super sticky. I used it to adhere strips of wood molding to acrylic to make fake windows, and it worked incredibly well. Being so thin it does require exceptionally smooth surfaces for maximum adhesion, any surface irregularities translate into voids in the bond. I'd take great care in surface preparation in any wood-to-wood application, even going so far as to say you might want to seal and sand an especially porous surface like particle board, particularly if it's a thin edge without a lot of surface area.

Best double sided tape I have ever used. I use it for a lot of different projects. The one I mostly use it for is my finished cross stitch. I adhere it to the cardboard that is with the frame. Works great and I don't have to pay somebody else to do this because it's pricey to frame a finished cross stitch picture. Great stuff.

I used FastCap laminate tape with foam to line several protective tool cases. It works well with high density foam such as Kaizen, but has some problems with adhesion with softer foam. In some cases, lifting the backing off without lifting off the adhesive part at the same time was a problem. In those cases, I used a sharp tip of razor knife to "start" and pull down and hold the adhesive while lifting off the backing. Generally speaking, it works well, but wish it was easier to use and had more adhesive strength.

I've been using this tape to attach thinner wood to thicker boards to go through my planer.

This stuff is very sticky, and comes with a nice quality backing on it that makes this tape easy to work with, and cut to shape while this backing is on it. The adhesive has a strange acrylic smell to it, but it dissipates pretty quickly. Some of the best double sided tape I have ever used, even though I never used it for veneer or anything it was designed for!
