Prefect replacement for Northern Tool 2271 pump found on NT sprayers. Hooked right up and worked like a charm.

Great little motor for my 25 gallon sprayer. I am replacing it because it finally wore out after 3+ years...longer than I expected. I'm sure I'll need to do this again in another 3 years. This is, definitely, worth the money!!

The products I ordered were exactly what I wanted. Everything shipped in one package, and it got to me a couple of days before I expected it. Excellent!

I needed a replacement pump for an ATV sprayer. This one advertised better flow and more psi for about the same money. Figured more spray out of the wand equals more dead bugs! It matched up to the mounting holes just fine so I give it a plus there. The rubber isolators on this pump are thicker than the old one so I had to source some longer mounting screws, no big deal. It pumps.... I don't think it is moving what it advertises, 2.2 gpm is double what my old pump did and I just don't see it... maybe without a hose right at the pump but nothing spectacular... The psi is lacking too. It may build psi but continuous through the want it isn't as good as the little pump that came with my sprayer originally. I am only getting about 15' of throw, cant hit the tops of my big trees with this pump where I could with the smaller OEM. I bet this would be great for a bilge or an rv sink or something. IT works to spray insecticide, it would surly do fence lines and such but it does not have the volume or psi I was expecting. Bottom line. It works. we'll see if it has any longevity.

Great replacement pump for yard sprayer

Perfect replacement for a damaged pump on my Northstar sprayer. Quiet operation, great flow and pressure.

Bought July 2025 but used first time today April 4, 2026. Verified it worked before mixing 14 gallons glyphosphate. Sprayed maybe 20 feet of fence line before it locked up. I can hear it bumping when I test with spare battery after checking fuse etc. with voltmeter. Update. I contacted Valley customer service. They’ve asked me to provide usual proofs of purchase, serial number and to test the pressure switch. In the meantime I’m using my 14 gallon spray tank as a reservoir for filling a 1 gal. hand pump sprayer from the shed. I’m rototilling what weeds I can, while the others put on about 4 inches height overnite. I’ve also started shopping other pumps and found Tractor Supply actually specifies USA made versus imported. Interestingly, the USA makers warn the pumps will arrive wet after individual unit testing. I added a few photos. What I got was a Chinese pump assembled in Mexico from who knows where components. I thought Valley Industries was the same company whose name I often saw on irrigation equipment in Salinas and San Joaquin valleys in my previous life. I guess only the cheese is at was. WHEN WILL RESPECTED US COMPANIES START SOURCING AND ASSEMBLING IN AMERICA? I am so angry right now… Country of origin specified in advertising should be compulsory for all products, even iPhones. Yikes! On April 14 Valley Industries sent me a new pump. In the meantime I purchased a backpack pump sprayer to keep up with weeds on my rural property.
